Was okay. Set up an appointment with David Garcia and he flaked on me as soon as I walked in, taking other customers. Rough start. From there I began working with Carlsen Boncoeur who was very friendly, professional, personable, and helpful. There was a third person I worked with who assisted Carlsen with the sale, but I can't remember his name. He was also very helpful. Unfortunately from that point on, it took hours to complete our transaction of purchasing two new cars. I understand two new vehicles takes time to process but we could have returned back at a later time, or got some food next door. Instead, we kept getting "strung along" with them telling us "we're almost done" and more time just kept passing by. Normally it wouldn't have been an issue, but my wife and I were there with our toddler who was becoming restless and irritable as any child would. Finally after about 5 hours, we met with Sunny Chan for the finalization of the paperwork. He was also very friendly and helpful. Maybe they were having an "off" day, but I've definitely had quicker and more pleasurable experiences at different dealerships. More

He was able to do this as while training a new employee named Chris. As long as Chris follows Mr. Mains level of professionalism, he will have no issue succeeding as an employee of Route 23 Honda. I feel comfortable in stating that I will do business with Route 23 Honda for a third time when my lease expires in three years, in which I hope I can deal with Mr. Mains. I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted at the door by Jamie's lovely face. I knew from the moment I walked in that she was the person I wanted to work with. I never felt as if I was being sold a car. She made the whole process quick and painless and took care of everything including returning my old lease to another dealership. She went the extra mile and has been great with any questions I've had and I couldn't be happier with my new car. When the time DID come, and it was an absolute necessity, I remembered how easy he was to deal with on the phone, how NOT PUSHY he was, and that he, too, was just a parent, like me, doing his job, not trying to "sneak" anything past me, but to actually HELP me make this as painless as possible! How refreshing from the 'old days', right? Through the staff there, I got what I needed, what I was looking for, and at a modest price.
