From our past experiences I will tell you we were both not looking forward to this "necessary evil". When we got to Royal Kia we were paired up with Melissa Shelley. The connection was INSTANT. She understood our "fear" of car buying and went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was amazing! Her attention to detail, her thoughtful attitude towards our situation and her humor made our thought process of car buying change for the better! Thank you so much Melissa for everything that you did for us! Royal Kia let me tell you that you won the lottery with an employee like her!! Well done! We will be customers for life! :) More

Based on his recommendation we began looking at other vehicles. Melissa was very receptive to what we needed out of a vehicle and even more honest with what she could offer us. We ended up buying a completely different vehicle than anticipated, but we're grateful now to have a car under warranty and that gets fantastic gas mileage. Thank you, Melissa! More

From Zero to Hero! I walked into the Royal Kia dealership with absolutely no intentions of purchasing a vehicle. I had just visited a seller from a local craigslist ad I walked into the Royal Kia dealership with absolutely no intentions of purchasing a vehicle. I had just visited a seller from a local craigslist ad and was a bit dissapointed with the condition of the vehicle. Feeling let down by technology, I decided to visit the dealership to get some questions answered: What is expected of a new car owner? How much could I afford a month? Does having a credit card for a year constitute anything towards buying your first vehicle? WHAT DOES A.P.R. EVEN MEAN?! I was a lost puppy ...but was immediately received by salesman River Lintner who guided me every step of the way. His level of professionalism and genuine dedication to my interests was extremely impressive. He asked, "What can we do for you today?" to which I distinctly remember him pulling out a sheet of blank paper and jotting down everything that I wanted from his dealership. What set River apart from every other salesperson I've ever encountered was that he ACTUALLY LISTENED! Never once did I feel I was getting shorted, lowballed, or blinded by the smoke and mirrors that can occur in sales. I arrived at the dealership a confused and car-less young man, and left a confident adult driver of a 2010 Hyundai Genesis...deservedly named "Sega". Thank you River and the rest of the Royal Kia family. You truly have made one of the most terrifying decisions of my life, one of the best and one of the easiest! More

At Royal, we were able to look and decide without any salesman intervention. Salesman: Once decided, we found a very upstanding salesman that proved caring, communicative and effective at satisfying our needs. We might have been a little hard on the guy in order to get the most we can, but he took it with great stride and in the end deserves a 5 star review for excellent care and service. I would definitely return to any dealership that Matt Horrigan is working at to buy our next car. Service: I have not taken our new car in to Royal's service yet, but have taken our previous Kia there. I can say that their service department aided in our return for our car we just bought. The service department provides excellent care and is very customer oriented. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cons: Sales: Don't give Royal your phone number, they will tellemarket the heck out of you. Months before we bought this car, I went by just to look and dream. Unfortunately, I was willing to provide a salesman named Juan my phone number, and consequently was bothered dozens of times. I first saved Royals number as do not answer, and proceeded to get calls from other lines of theirs. I have like 5 do not answer contacts saved to my phone. Once again though regarding Matt Horrigan, he obviously has good people skills to understand we are not the bothering type. Since we met him, he has not bothered us, and even when he put our number in Royals system; and we got a few calls from others, he quickly with sincerity apologized and notified the dealership to leave us alone. More

The sales agent, Peter Thomas was the most remarkable salesman that I have ever dealt with. His level of service and dedication to me was impeccable. It far exceeded what I had envisioned purchasing a car would be like. He was not only very professional as well as one of the most polite gentleman I have ever met, he also was able to connect with me on a very personal level. I had walked into the dealership with very specifics of what I was looking for and the amount I was going to spend. Peter took time to not only listen to me, but to also deliver exactly what I was looking for and to work with me through the purchase process. There were some extenuating circumstances with my recent purchase, and Peter went what I call above and beyond what was required to not only get but to keep my business. He treated me like a "real person" not as just another sale so that the dealership can meet it's quota. Peter took genuine interest in not only what I wanted, but worked with me through ever single step of the purchase so that there were no surprises when it came to closing the deal.
