My daily commute is about 75 miles one way. Therefore, I need a reliable car. The other day, I had an issue with one of the tires, and I was told that it was the sensor and not the tire. But because I work need a reliable car. The other day, I had an issue with one of the tires, and I was told that it was the sensor and not the tire. But because I work in a small city where there is no KIA dealership, I was unable to take it, but an uncle who happen to be going to Tucson make me the favor of taking the car to replace the sensor. Obviously I did not have an appointment because I was not thinking on having an emergency. At the dealer, I was told that they could not replace the sensor without an appointment, and that they did not guarantee that the tire will hold the air. I always brag about the great experience I has when I bought the car at this dealership. but in the service department is another story. More
My husband sent me on a fact finding mission to look at four cars: Kia Forte, Buick Varono, Ford Fusion, and Hyndai Elantra. I went to four dealerships to look at each car. One thing I hate as a women is being treated like I don't know anything, or to be pushed into something, or feel like I am being held hostage. I first went to Royal Kia because they had such a high customer rating. Upon arriving, I met Tom Rice. He explained the pricing for Kia Royal, which I really liked. Tom showed me the car and we took the Kia Forte for a test drive. I loved how fun it was to drive. It was definitely in the running. I explained to Tom that I wanted to test drive some other cars and he encouraged me to do so. I wish I could say all the other dealerships were as pleasant to deal with. I had one dealership tell me to find out the price and call them back, because they could do better. I think that is pretty underhand; if you were not willing to give me a good price up front, why should I go back? One of the reasons I hate buying cars. Anyway, I narrowed it down to the Elantra and the Forte, but after test driving the Elantra, I took my husband back to Royal Kia because I thought the car ride was so much better. Tom was happy to take us on a test drive and then my husband decided we should look at the Optima, so we took it for a drive and liked it even better; however, we spotted the hybrid Optima and decided to take it for a drive. I absolutely love my new Kia Optima Hybrid. It has plenty of power and I love saving on gas. One thing I like about Kia Royal is you are with the same sales person through the whole deal,so it was a pleasure to work with Tom Rice through the process. I recommend Kia Royal and Tom Rice for a good and fair buying experience. More
We walked in the door and were not even waiting 5 minutes before someone came and spoke to us. We were upfront with the fact that we were only interested in looking and they completely understood. Daniel was still very helpful in helping educate us about how their system worked. He help us narrow down our Kia list extensively. We even test drove a Kia Sorento and still felt like there was no pressure to buy today. He answered all our questions with no hesitation and he really knew what he was doing. Daniel is a very down to earth sales consultant and was very understanding with everything we talked about in our visit. We were leaving on on vacation in two days, and now the car wasn't running right. It seemed that each month we were having some problem with the car. We were met by Tom Price who showed us were the repair shop was but told me, I think it's time for a new car. I told him, I wish we could afford a new car. We talked as my husband was talking with the repair department. I asked him how much could I get for my car, explained we were retired and we could not afford a big payment. He showed us a couple of new 2013 cars which I fell in love with the 2013 Silver Kia Rio. He said let me run a few figures. We waited in the waiting, not long and he came back with a deal we could not refuse. We never felt pressured and he kept us informed on each step. Before long he was handing us our keys to our new car. I loved my Kia, we had it for almost 9 years. I have always dreaded car dealerships, until now! They don't work on commission so the experience is totally different than anything I have ever experienced. This company just wants you to find the right car and be happy! We had researched the car we wanted prior to our visit and when we arrived we were able to test drive it immediately. The whole process took very little time and I drove off with my new (used) car the next day. We bought a Prius and discovered the following day that the 12v battery was bad, their service department not only replaced the battery same day but also at no cost to us. Lu Fragozo was an exceptional sales/finance person (they don't hand you off after you decide to purchase) who made the whole experience one that I will never forget. Not only did I get a "surprise" when I purchased the car but I also received a thank you card and a birthday card from the dealer. This is a company that truly cares! More
