My salesman then was Bill Yalen, and he sold me my second Buick as well. Both cars served me well and had huge mileage when I sadly decided it was time to trade them in. I called Bill again for his help, and found he's partially retired but very willing to advise. He knew what kind of car I wanted and found a few options for me to look at. One was a 2013 Chevy Impala at the Royal Kia store with only 12,000 miles on it and quite a fair price. My husband and I went to look at it and were warmly welcomed by a handsome person named Peter Thomas. In fact my first words to him were, "You look so nice!" because his colors of trousers, crisp shirt and tie were pleasing to the eye. We followed him to his cubicle after refusing his offer of coffee or water, and we told him what we wanted. He brought out the car and let its AC run a few minutes while we chatted. He was genuinely interested in everything we had to say, as we were with him. I noticed and was delighted that he talked mostly to me, since I was the chief buyer. This would be my car, which I would pay for, and I appreciated his giving me his full attention, although Larry could and did ask a few questions. When he let me drive it the three of us rode in harmony, and after just a few minutes I found myself saying, "I REALLY like the way this drives!" Larry said, "I'm so glad to hear you say that." He didn't want to influence me, but he let me know of his approval, which I appreciated. That very afternoon we bought it! I feel like Peter is a good friend now, and next time I buy a car you can be sure I'll be calling Peter. (However I'm 80 years old, so I may not be buying many new cars in the next few years.) Anyway I want you to know how pleased both of us were and are and always will be with Royal's sales staff. Customers are treated like respected friends. I was able to schedule an appointment and upon arrival Paul Juell had the vehicles I was interested in test driving ready to go. It was a low pressure situation. The sales staff was informative. My questions were answered. When it was time to talk dollars and cents they were no nonsense. I told them what I was able to pay and what it would take for me to purchase a vehicle that day, and they made it happen. I left the dealership feeling really good about my purchase and I felt like both sides accomplished their objectives. Royal made some money and I got into a 2005 Jeep Liberty that my wife is happy with. All at the right price. What a great experience. If something unexpected comes up, they sit down with you, face-to-face and explain the change and what the impact will be, positive or negative, and how much it will cost. They do nothing without the customer's input. Shawn Aranda is my "personal" service person and I feel I can ask him anything and he will shoot straight with me. He knows my car so he does not have to re-educate himself everything I take my car in. He is a consummate professional and only has his customer's best interest at heart. Royal Kia is like a family and each customer is just an extension of that family. They, and Shawn, really treat you right. More
We visited your location in search of an auto we had seen on line. Upon meeting Mr. Vazquez and being escorted to his work station, we were immediately impressed with his professional attitude. He quickly determined the auto we wanted had been sold. He did not try to sell us a different auto, instead he searched all local KIA locations and was able to find the same auto at a different location. He drove us to that location to see the car which had not yet been processed for public viewing. We did buy the auto and Juan was there from start to finish. He went over the paperwork and explain everything to our satisfaction. What is unique about our experience with Juan is that at the location where we bought the auto, we had previously met a sales person who works there, however, the quality of Juan's customer service and professionalism made us want to work with Juan. We are happy to recommend Juan and KIA to everyone in the market for an automobile.
