Looking for a Used Forester. But! Guess what? To be honest, my Wife and I never look forward to dealing with Car Sale Persons! Wife and I were looking for a used Forester (both of us are retired) To be honest, my Wife and I never look forward to dealing with Car Sale Persons! Wife and I were looking for a used Forester (both of us are retired), with reasonable low mileage and at a particular price for a specific year range. Dan Beaupain showed us what they had, answered our questions as to the used model(s), and as we test drove one answered our questions as well as pointed out some of the features of the vehicle. All through this my Wife and I didn't feel pressured by Dan into deterring us to look at other models at higher prices, as he was showing us what we wanted to see for the price we had in mind, period! When we sat down to talk about the price and other particulars, then Yes, the old need to talk to my manager about this! Okay, here we go, same old same old, right? Wrong! Daniel Chumbley (Sales Mgr) came over, introduced himself and showed us two info sheets. One with the lowest price they could offer for the Used, and another for the lowest price they could offer on a new 2017 model with no hidden fees after the fact, $ amount shown is what it was! Again, No pressure from Daniel , answered some questions we had about the new vehicle and after my Wife and I taking that night to talk about the offer(s). Well, we either take a Used 2015 Forester, As-Is.., 35,000 miles, and other used qualities, Or take door 2 with new 2017 Forester with new car smell for just a little more $$ but really not that much more then what we would have paid for the Used! All in All, Wife and I felt no pressure during the transactions from either Dan or Daniel, and even Karen Wood the Lady that does the paper work who is "bullet proof" didn't try and pressure us to purchase extra add-on-services\warranties that we didn't want, although she is required to ask, but if you say No, then that is as far as it goes! I'm giving these folks this awesome review cause of the No pressure attitude, Take your time to make a decision on offer, Questions answered in a prompt and if question not known Dan would say so and try and find out, and the most important one is the People Skills these folks showed, which I have not seen in past car sales persons we have dealt with! If you who are reading this don't know what people skills are, then obviously you don't have any and I would hate to work for you, or work with you! More

We received no pressure and great information, also was allowed to take an extended test drive till we had satisfied our curiosity. On the returning trip we still had a few questions again same experience with no pressure to purchase the vehicle. We did buy the car 2017 Outback touring, great car. More

bad service department I have been a customer for this company for ~ 4 years. I bought my car there and usually take my car there for 3-4 times a year for regular mainentanc I have been a customer for this company for ~ 4 years. I bought my car there and usually take my car there for 3-4 times a year for regular mainentance and any major work needed. I took my to CARR Nissan. I've realized that Royal Moore has been misleading me about their service and gives me falfisied documents about the state of my car. CARR Nissan told me that fluids in my car have not been attended for years. They are heavily discolored and levels are close to minimum levels. The worst part is that I've taken my car to Royal Moore only about 1 month ago and I only drive residential. There is no way my car can endure such big changes within ~ 1 month. Royal Moore technicians clearly did not do any work and created the falsified documents without any work done. I highly recommend being alert to this company's practices during and after the sale. If you want to have problem-free experience, please take your time and look for somewhere else. My car probably lost value due to missed maintenance and this company's bad practices. More

2017 Subaru Outback broken from Day 1 I purchased this car new on November 6th. I used the Costco Auto program to buy the car and Greg Bristow was the Sales rep. The entire sales process I purchased this car new on November 6th. I used the Costco Auto program to buy the car and Greg Bristow was the Sales rep. The entire sales process was easy, no pressure and fairly quick. Greg & the Finance Rep were great and didn't pressure me or try to low ball me on anything. The Starlink system (stereoGPS, roadside assistance, etc) didn't activate when I left the dealer but I was told it could take 24-48 hours. Greg called and checked with Subaru and me to see how it was going. 2 days later it still would activate, so I called Subaru myself and was told to take the car to be serviced so Starlink can be 'reset'. This was not the case. After 2 days worth of troubleshooting and 10+ hours of my time trying to coordinate everything and waiting, the problem was originally diagnosed as the speaker (didn't work at all apparently), but the stereo was found to be failed. Door panels and stereo system removed and original factory seals & glues broken. They gave me a another brand new car to use as a loaner after I insisted (versus figuring out my own ride). Found out 2 days later the he replacement unit is backordered for 2-3 weeks. So best case, 1.5 months after I bought the car, the features I paid for MIGHT work. I escalated this frustration to General Manager of Royal Moore Subaru and I was left with a terrible response and sorry not my fault attitude. He made ZERO effort to try and deal the situation and when I pressed him that as a Subaru Dealer he needs to take some accountability, he said it was really Subaru's fault and not his, so call them. Faulty components from Subaru and no one every checks to make sure things work even as simple as the stereo speakers. Subaru has been contacted to try and discuss the problem with them. More to information to come, but in the meantime I have a well equipped Subaru that doesn't function properly beyond driving down the road. Such a shame. This was my 3rd Subaru. Improved service and attitudes would have made all the difference. I would have given a 1 star review if it wasn't for Greg's help and service (he wasn't working when I found out the stereo is 2-3 weeks backordered). More

Outstanding Customer Service I am writing this because my experience with Royal Moore Subaru in Hillsboro, OR was truly outside of my prior experience in dealing with the "after t I am writing this because my experience with Royal Moore Subaru in Hillsboro, OR was truly outside of my prior experience in dealing with the "after the sale" divisions at car dealers. Even though I had bought my new Subaru, my very first, at another dealership, when I called to inquire about title and registration, I received exceptional service. I called KIM ARMSTRONG who is the Title Clerk at Royal Moore. Not only did she answer my phone call on the first ring, when I outlined my problem, she was helpful, cheerful and very well informed. She sent me the forms that I needed along with a stamped envelope to the DMV right away. I just cannot tell you how very impressed I am with Kim's performance at Royal Moore. Based solely on her actions, I will buy our next car at Royal Moore as well as recommend them to our friends. Good Show! More
