Chris, This is not accurate information and we'd like to clear it up for you. I'll be reaching out to you personally. We DO NOT require cash. There are items we equip our cars with (not just this one) when they come in for a PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and we could get you a different one. The vehicle had no pictures because it hadn't been through PDI yet. We take our reviews very seriously and will attempt to fix this the best we can.

I did receive a call from Royal Moore (Ron) in an attempt to clear up some of the issues I outlined above. First, they do take cash. Despite what I was told ( in writing). After that it started to feel like a Seinfeld episode. Ron clarified that they do not take deposits as they have had issues with people putting down deposits, and then not purchasing the vehicle. Which means that they missed out on other potential buyers. Of course thats what every dealer I have bought a car with over the last 40 years has asked for - a deposit ! Which seems like what they are asking for since their website Ad for the Tacoma Pro says very clearly, "Reserve it Now!" How do you reserve something if you can't put a deposit down ? Then Ron offered to find a Tacoma Pro from another dealership. I said that they are in short supply so that seems like a long shot. However, he clarified that he would need a Deposit in order to do that. So, to sum up if you want to put a deposit on a truck that they have on the lot - you can't do that. But if you want a truck that they don't have on the lot - you have to put down a deposit. Like I said - Seinfeld.
