Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand how frustrating ongoing vehicle issues can be, especially shortly after purchase. The vehicle you purchased was a used vehicle sold as-is, which was clearly disclosed at the time of sale. While the vehicle did pass our standard pre-sale inspection, it is important to note that inspections reflect the vehicle’s condition at that point in time and cannot predict future mechanical failures, particularly on used vehicles. Despite the as-is nature of the sale, we made multiple goodwill efforts to assist you after purchase, including several diagnostic visits and repairs that were not contractually required of us. These efforts were extended in good faith and went beyond our normal post-sale obligations. At this time, any additional repairs fall under normal ownership responsibility. We regret that the vehicle has not met your expectations, but we have acted fairly, transparently, and within industry standards throughout this process. We appreciate your business and wish you the best moving forward.

I never dealt with Mike. We worked with Max. After the transaction was complete and payment made, my daughter was handed one key fob--not two. I was told it was a "used car" and that is the way it is. I feel that should have been disclosed. I was given a number to buy another, but no offer from dealer. One tire was low. We added to the buy paperwork that Darrow would fix it if an issue--I believe that will happen.. When I got home, I noticed the tires didn't have caps on the stems. again, a detail that should have been seen on inspection and could have been remedied then. It was too cold to wash the car prior to delivery--understandable. But not delivering a car with a full tank of gas seems odd to me. These are small details, but it would make me question going to Darrow for my family's next purchase. I feel good. I don't feel great.

While it is not uncommon for pre-owned vehicles to come with only the keys available at the time of acquisition, we recognize how receiving just one fob can be disappointing, and we agree that clearer communication up front would have been helpful. Your feedback on this is well taken. Regarding the tire, we’re glad it was noted in the paperwork, and please rest assured that if an issue arises, we will absolutely follow through on addressing it as discussed. We also appreciate you mentioning the missing valve stem caps. While small, details like that do matter, and it’s helpful for us to know where we can improve. As you mentioned, the extreme cold limited our ability to wash the vehicle prior to delivery. We also understand your thoughts on the fuel level. While we don’t guarantee a full tank on used vehicles, we can appreciate how that detail impacts the overall delivery experience. We truly value you taking the time to outline these points. Even small items, when combined, shape how a customer feels at the end of a purchase, and your feedback helps us improve that experience for future customers.
