Misleading coupons and late shuttle pickups I normally do not leave bad reviews, but my experience with Russ Darrow today is definitely worthy of one. My Civic was making a loud screeching noise as I drove, so I knew I might have an expensive repair in front of me. When I was given costs for 8 different maintenance and repair services totaling over $1450 (before tax and shop fees) I had to debate which work I should actually get done at this point. I found some relief when I found a coupon on Russ Darrow’s website that advertised "Save up to $200" -- 5% off maintenance or repairs when you spend over $250, 10% off $500, 15% off $750 or 20% off $1000. I decided to get 4 of the services done, totaling over $1000. When I brought the coupon to my service advisor she said that only one of the services qualified, so I would only get 5% off. She told me that they already discount the labor cost on brakes, so that service doesn't qualify. (OK, then why doesn't it say "excludes brakes" on the coupon, like it says "excludes tires"?) And she said that the other services are "scheduled maintenance" items so they don't qualify. Not true -- I checked Honda corporate's website and Russ Darrow Honda's website, and none of the 4 services that I got done are on the Honda scheduled maintenance plan. I had them start on the repairs anyway and give me a ride to work. I had the driver schedule to pick me up at 4:00. More on that later... Still feeling unsettled about the coupon situation I called back and voiced my opinion and explained that the coupon is extremely misleading. The service advisor's answer was "yeah, we're going to take that coupon off the website." I asked for her manager and left a voicemail for the Service Manager. The service advisor called back later and said that she spoke with the manager and they will give me 10% off. I let her know that I was still very disappointed. When it got to be 4:12 I called to make sure my driver was on the way to pick me up. (I know that in traffic it takes about 30 minutes to get from the dealership to my workplace.) They told me that they'd have to send a different driver and he'd be there soon, so I figured he must already be on the road somewhere closer to me. 45 minutes later I called again, explained to the same service advisor that I need to pick up my kids from daycare by 6:00 and asked if I should just take an Uber and have the dealership take the cost off my bill. She said that they wouldn't reimburse me for an Uber and that the driver was "en route" to pick me up. At 5:17 (another 20 minutes later) the driver finally arrived, and my wife had to make special arrangements to pick up the kids. I would have been perfectly happy if Russ Darrow Honda would have just stood behind the coupon that they are advertising online and if they would have picked me up within 30 minutes of my scheduled pickup time. The Service Advisor Alicia and the Service Manager really missed the mark in every way even after I gave them several chances to "make things right." More

Excellent customer service I have been leasing a Honda from this dealership and stopped in recently to discuss my lease end options and have an oil change. The service departme I have been leasing a Honda from this dealership and stopped in recently to discuss my lease end options and have an oil change. The service department is courteous and went over the car inspection results with me and asked if I had any questions. The service staff was named Jay and he was very nice. I then met with the dealer who had leased me the Honda 3 years ago. I did not feel pressured to make an immediate decision. And she provides me with several options to reach her for any questions. We have been texting and she was able to quote a fantastic rate on a 2018 which is cheaper than the payment I have been paying. I am extremely satisfied with the overall customer service. They also provide great beverages and popcorn !!!!! More
