Although not every repair is successful on the first attempt, often due to multiple repairs needed, it is our obligation to repair what we are authorized to in order to keep our customers safe and informed. My vehicle is under the name Jason Griffin. 2014 Kia Soul I called immediately after leaving out of Russ Darrow and service department said they have to diagnose them problem. But clearly the recall already stated the problem and all Russ Darrow did was reset my check engine light.

Thank you for the info Jay that was a huge help! That did allow me to see your most recent visit and get the proper information. Unfortunately, there is no anti-freeze purchase on your repair order - Was that something you purchased through the Parts Department? The good news is that I can see the recalls that brought you in. One was for a software update and the other was a measurement test. Those recalls were confirmed to be performed (and recorded through devices that are connected directly to the vehicle) and are quite simple and easy to complete. We would not simply clear a Check Engine Light without performing these updates - there are strict rules that Kia mandates us to follow when it comes to recalls like this. It seems that the Check Engine Light that popped back on is related to a different issue. We would be happy to address this for you if you haven't gone elsewhere for diagnosis. If you would like to speak directly to the Manager to get this fast-tracked, you may call 414-778-5700 and ask for Jason Fischer. Thank you again and we truly hope everything turns out ok.
