DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS DEALER! I just got off the phone with their sales manager and he refused to remove the 3000$ markup that was added to the price of my custom order f150. "Protection package" is what they were trying to call this 3K fee. I was waiting on this truck to arrive for months from the factory and when it finally did, they price gouged me and added that bogus fee. I hate to be a Karen but Im reaching out to corporate to make sure they are aware of these tactics. I hear their ceo is in favor of removing dealerships because of BS like this, so let's see. In the meantime, avoid these crooks. Gas prices are going up, interest rates are going up, and lots of trucks are going to be hitting the used market soon. More
I live in Indianapolis and found a 2022 Ford F-250 on R&S website, and put down a deposit to hold. The salesperson sent me 20 plus interior and exterior photos prior to my arrival in Houston. 30 minutes after leaving the dealership my daughter gets into the drive spurs side rear seat and informs me that there is a hole in the rear seat that was covered by paperwork in the seat pocket. I immediately call the salesperson to inform him of the issue. He tells me that R&S inspect all trucks and that it is not their issue. When I got to my daughters home in Houston I reviewed the photos sent to me earlier by the salesperson, and one of the photos taken 2 weeks earlier before I arrived clearly shows the hole in the back of the drivers seat. I continued to have no response from R&S for three weeks and multiple calls. I then called Ford compliant line, and they called R&S with no response. After three months Ford ageeed to replace the seat cover at a Indy ford dealer. I will not do business with any Russell and Smith dealership. They do not Stan’s behind their product. More

I’ve been emailing them about the issue I have with a 2020 F-150 I bought from there earlier in the year. I even call them and leave voice mails and they never call back! I bought the truck online and had it delivered to me. After I took possession of the truck I noticed the driver side rear view mirror was broken. I have pictures from the salesman to prove the mirror was already broken at the dealership. I’ve been patiently waiting for them to respond, but I haven’t got no response from them since August. They did say they would fix it but I would have to drive there and I live 3 hours away. Not sure if they’re going to fix it anymore because I can’t get a response from them. Very disappointed in their customer service! Will never buy a vehicle from them again! More

Purchased a 21FordBroncoSport and walked in with preapproved loan. Still took THREE HOURS. Vehicle was not inspected and they knew it was headed to Atlanta. Finally start working with someone the second day spoke to him about pricing, sent all my photos, got my appraisal amount then they call and start the old games. That vehicle sold but we have this one for same price. I said ok. They said what pricing are you seeing online I told them again. mind you i already told them this yesterday and today before we spent tons of my time sending in stuff. He said ok can you send me screen shots. So I spent more time taking screen shots of pricing on copilot and then once you click go to their website and took screen shots of the pricing I am seeing. I get a call back now stating oh no that was special pricing only for last week and he can send a screen shot from his side what it should be. 3000 more. Said can't do anything about pricing showing wrong. I can see why these Edges have been on Copilot for over 265 days because they are a bait and switch dealership. More
We contacted dealer at 0900 this morning to confirm our vehicle and trade-in. Explained we had a 4hr drive to get there. My son texted and called to update salesman on our ETA. First he tells us he's working on a deal and his father, who is also a salesman, will help us. He looks for the car and finds it. We go and look at it(hasn't been detailed yet) and then tells us it's just been sold! Really? We go back inside while he finds a sales manager. The manager says he's sorry and they don't hold a vehicle unless a deposit is posted, which was NEVER communicated with us. He then tells us he understands how we feel! I bet HE'S never driven 4hrs to have his car sold from under him! That is the epitome of xxxx poor business! Extremely deceptive. Their attitude was who cares.....we'll make sales anyway. Do yourself a huge favor and find another Ford dealer in Houston. I bet they will treat you better! This would have been my son's first deal on his own. Way to to make it a horrible experience guys! 11/11/20 I ordered an F450 from Russell & Smith Ford (my third Super Duty with them) with an agreed price and even put up a deposit. Today they tried to screw me 3 different ways and would not sell me the truck for the agreed price. Super Shady and a horrible experience. First, They said they would match offers on trade-ins- They lied, but I agreed to $2,000 less than what another dealer sent me a contract at. I expected this trick, because they were shady with not being able to provide a price until my new truck showed up. Second, they claimed $695 "protection package" that I declined, was actually for wheel locks and mud flaps. I expected this trick too. Third, they required I use their financing to get the price which is not the case right now because Ford has no current rebate for financing. A trick I did not expect. Fourth, This is a custom order that I had to sign and provide $500 deposit by credit card (4 mo ago!) and somehow they lost the price, so I had to show proof, which I, of course, provided. This is where the real scam started. I thought I was getting $1000 back from Ford and $500 from the Farm Bureau, well, I was actually somehow eligible for $3000 in rebates, so they tried to pretend that they were meeting my agreed price with the $3000 in rebates instead of the actual price agreed to less the Ford rebates. Thereby screwing me out of $1,500 (plus the $2,000 on the trade) plus the taxes you pay on the rebate. But really they were trying to get over on me for a full $3,000. The market is great for them right now and they are playing games and scams. Mind you, this is the third truck I have ordered with the same deal each time. More
