Most of the dealers I dealt with came in around the same price, but were vague on whether they had a car with the features I wanted. Henry Reese said they had a car configured they way I wanted and at a good price. I went to the dealership to close the deal, but one of the features I wanted was not in the vehicle (rear passenger USB ports). Henry said they could add it later and they did. No issues. On top of that, they gave me a deal that was better than any other dealer I contacted. But what I appreciated most was that everyone was nice. No pressure tactics, no "let me get my manager". Just good communication about what they can and can't do. Buying a car always comes with some stress. But Russell and Smith and Henry Reese made it a good experience. More

Service is awful I had a an extremely awful experience with them. Their service I got was terrible. They made me furious and disappointed! In their eyes, I did not see any respect and sincerity on me. They treated me like a fool without showing any repentance. All in all, they are the last one I will recommend to any of you for car service. I wish other people would not suffer from their service like me! The whole situation is like this. No one knew whether they did it intentionally, but they did uninstall my right rear light bulbs and forgot to install them when doing car inspection. They manually put me in a very dangerous situation when driving on the high way especially at night. And I was even unaware that the right rear lights were not working! Then I came to them for explanations, they asked me to pay for the lost bulbs saying they burned out! How things happened simultaneously in so many weird ways? They didn't even admit their faults. What is worse, they made me pay for the bulbs that were removed by them. Or else they refused to fix it for me! Then they just started to make up their own excuses and gave me the xxxxs even when I told them politely that I didn't feel comfortable with their services. How can you trust their mechanicians to keep you and your car safe? How can you expect their service team to improve their service? How can you imagine when your right rear light bulbs were removed by them and they told you they did not know the reason either? Even though, how can my car pass an inspection test even without light bulbs there? Did they do their work carefully? No, definitely not. Did they confess their faults and take the responsibility when I told them the problem? No, absolutely not. What they want is just your money not the customer's security and satisfaction! I am usually a nice person who is reluctant to say any bad words of anyone, but Russel & Smith Honda is the one ever in my life whom I want to give every kind of bad comments. If negative scores are allowed, I would give negative 5 to them. These are the details. I went to them for a vehicle inspection on Thursday because I needed it to renew the registration my car. They kept me waiting there for 3 hours and then gave me a proof paper showing everything passed the test. Then I finished registering my car and parked my car in my apartments inside building parking lot until Saturday. Usually, I don't drive to work. On Saturday night, after going out of the cinema, my friend and I would like to drive home. I suddenly noticed that all the lights on the right rear sides were off! I felt so anxious when driving on the high way and afraid of being pulled over by a policeman.This is so weird, how could they be broken at the same time? But since it was the weekend, I had to wait until Monday to have my car fixed. I got up at 6am on Monday morning (04/09) and arrived at Russel & Smith on 7:40am. Then Mike looked at my car and said the light bulbs were gone? I said, what, how could they be gone? I had my car inspected here last Thursday! After some checking by the mechanicians, Mike came back and told me that the light bulbs were burned out. And told me to pay 50 dollars to have them fixed. Although this was not a big amount a money, what is the xxxx why should I pay for the things that you guys messed up! Then they said very unpleasant words to me to coerce me to pay! Then I talked with the service manager there. He was the same, he even did not say sorry to me. He insisted that this was not their faults. Then whose faults? Then what was the point for me to get up so early to go to Russel & Smith to have the problem fixed? Because I need the explanations. But I found they are very disorganized and unprofessional! They said they did not know the reason even without taking any efforts to do an investigation of the case! Or perhaps they tried to hide the real reasons and just treated me like a xxxx! More
Excellent service from start to finish I was looking to replace my primary vehicle in a relatively short timeframe (decision made to buy a new vehicle Friday, started researching late Frida I was looking to replace my primary vehicle in a relatively short timeframe (decision made to buy a new vehicle Friday, started researching late Friday). My budget was at 25k. While there are a lot of options, I needed the performance. In the past I’ve owned Hondas, and my family is a Honda family. I’ve personally owned a Civic, del Sol VTEC, Element, and an S2000, so I’m pretty biased to Honda. I researched and decided the Civic Si was the car for me, so I checked True Car on Satuday and Andy was the first to respond out of many many dealerships. He gave me a price that worked with my budget and set up a test drive for this morning (Monday). I show up and Andy greeted me pretty enthusiastically. We went over some preliminaries - do you have a trade-in, do you have the keys, do you still want the Civic, and then Nelson came over to do the test drive. Nelson and I go outside and do the obligatory walk around the car, and showing me (pretty thouroughly) all the features the car has to offer. During the test drive, He goes on to show me all the interior features and wizardry of the new Si. When I did my research online, I saw videos of walk-throughs so I was familiar with some of what Nelson was showing me, but it’s different when you’re actually touching the car. Test drive was great, I got to experience the different modes the car had and was pretty satisfied with how the car performed. We pull back into the parking lot, and Nelson proceeded to show me more features of the car (reverse camera, DRL lights, back-up camera, phone pairing). After getting educated, it was back to talk to Andy about numbers. He provided me a figure for my trade-in and why the number was what it was, and broke down all the costs for the new car. No hidden fees, no up-sell, just numbers. I told him I had a pre-approval check from my bank. He asked the rate I was paying and asked if I could give him the opportunity to see if he could beat the rate. I stuck with my guns initially and said I was going to stick with my bank, but he overcame my objection and said that if I agreed to the cost of the vehicle and if he could meet or beat the rate, would I agree to giving him the chance to beat it. Against my better judgement I agreed, but it actually worked in my favor. Waited a bit as the finance manager Nicholas worked his magic (have to call the banks). After awhile Andy comes out with Nicholas so we can take care of the financing end of things. Things went pretty well, I was able to secure a lower rate than my bank offered, and got more services for the amount I was going to pay anyway. We went over the terms and what my next steps were and also timing of events (insurance, first payment). After that was finalized, it was one more education session with Nelson, but only to go over a new ownership checklist. He showed me how to open and close my hood (which I laughed at, but apparently some people don’t know how to perform that function), and some other obligatory items. All in all I have to say that this has been one of the best experiences I’ve had at a dealership. Everyone was professional and courteous, and at no point did I get the pushy salesman vibe, nor did I feel I was forced into anything. Didn’t feel the need to haggle on the cost of the car because I feel like I got a fair price. Everyone’s got to make money, and I have other things I can put my energy to than nickle and diming someone who I may need to go back to. With the experience I had from start to finish, I definitely feel I got the value for the price I paid. More
