Before leaving the house, i reconfirmed the agreed out the door numbers. When i arrived there and had a test drive. They changed the selling price and told me the additional cost is due to the value they provides to customer. Their sales manager didn't have answer and sales director never showed up to defend this ridiculous approach. Dear Russell Smith Honda, This car selling approach is considered dishonest, unethical and corrupt. You wasted my 3 hours on working day. This is second time in 6 months this dealership wasted my time. So i am not going to recommend anyone. More

Dealership review We were looking for a used Toyota 4Runner and found a listing through Car Guru for a 2012 model with 75,000. We contacted Amir Lahkani and made an app We were looking for a used Toyota 4Runner and found a listing through Car Guru for a 2012 model with 75,000. We contacted Amir Lahkani and made an appointment to drive down from Austin to Houston to see the vehicle. Amir was courteous and low-pressure. After meeting with him we felt we were in good hands and could trust his counsel. We were concerned about purchasing a vehicle that had been exposed to flood. He assured us that Russell & Smith didn't get involved in those kinds of sales because they had a 100-year-old reputation in Houston to uphold. The vehicle was serviced and Amir was able to catch an airbag recall and take the 4Runner nearby to a Toyota dealership to have that recall taken care of by the time we got there. The 4Runner was in great shape, looked brand new. We had to get a cashier's check from our bank and Amir drove us to a Wells Fargo that was open on Saturday so we could get what we needed. We drove off the lot with a full tank of gas, oil change, 3 month or 3000 warranty on engine and transmission, title and registration taken care of, feeling we had made a good decision. When we got home we immediately found a rear backup light was out and discovered that the bulb had not been placed in the socket correctly. Also, the fuse was burnt out on the 12V outlets. The right headlight also burnt out and had to be replaced. We were concerned that the vehicle had electrical problems but these issues were easily resolved, not requiring a mechanic to fix. The only other issue I wish to include in this review is that after 1600 miles (we drove to Arizona from Austin) a "Maintenance Required" light came on on the dashboard. This is confusing because the mileage was at 76,417. Perhaps the computer had not been reset after the last scheduled maintenance recommended by Toyota at 75,000 as there is nothing in the actual mileage that required maintenance. I would like to know of Russell & Smith can access maintenance records for this vehicle on line. I'm not clear what R&S does on their standard checkpoint system for used vehicles. More
