MP_Doc, As you know, this was an undortunate clerical error on our part. We did accidently mail your new plates to the address listed on the finance contract & Texas title application versus the requested Missouri address on file. We made several attempts to rectify the situation as best we could. In addition to our apology, we also gave you tickets to attend a local sporting event which you seem pleased about. Once again, we realize that this was an inconvenience and apologize for the clerical error on our part. I trust that you are enjoying your new vehicle and should you need further assisstance, please do not hesitate to call.

I was going to leave this alone, but the dealership's response left out a few important details. 1) the "unfortunate clerical error" almost caused me some serious hardship as I work on an Army post and need a Dept of Defense decal to have easy access to the base...which I could not get without license plates. The contract and title application were supposed to be done with the MO address, too. 2) the event tickets were surely appreciated, but let's get the order of events straight. They were given to us during the sales process. The wording of your response implies that they were given as a reparation of some sort, and they were not. We didn't know about the problem that day (or any time that weekend), so you can't really consider that in your response. We ARE enjoying the new vehicle, thank you- it's going into storage because we are both headed overseas for a prolonged tour. Thank you for your response. I hope I'm wrong about Rusty Wallis dealerships... but I still won't recommend you to my friends.
