No surprises! From the friendly, family style greeting to the write up, the service, the bill, there were no surprises. This is the best dealership I have ever dealt with and that includes four Subaru dealerships (we are now on #s 5 and 6), three Volvo dealerships (all they wanted was your money), a couple of Toyota dealerships (ho hum) one Isuzu dealerships, two Buick dealerships, three Chevy dealerships, and one Oldsmobile dealership (remember those?), Brown Subaru is Grand Cru, Prime Class, Top of the Line. The service writers don't talk down to you, they don't try to sell you something extra, and they are the friendliest people in town! Just like close family. The reason I have dealt with so many dealerships is that I am older than dirt!!! ;-) More

Came in last minute; fixed and on road in less than 30. I had an unknown electrical problem which would not let me shift out of park. I called the 1-800 number on the manual Subaru provides with the car but I had an unknown electrical problem which would not let me shift out of park. I called the 1-800 number on the manual Subaru provides with the car but they were clueless as to what the issue might be. So, I had the car towed to Brown's (nearest Subaru dealership). Due to the lateness of the evening, I was sure that I would have to leave the car overnight (logistical headache). Bbut fortunately, the service dept was still open. The service attendant (Ms Trish Montgomery) upon hearing my woes, immediately suspected the problem and called the service garage and asked one of the technicians if he had time to fix it this evening. I was in and out and back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Crisis averted. Kudos to Ms Trish. More
