I had to take my car back into San Tan after they replaced my front and rear brakes and did a brake fluid flush, because 2 weeks later my brake fluid light came on, turns out they stripped a screw or replaced my front and rear brakes and did a brake fluid flush, because 2 weeks later my brake fluid light came on, turns out they stripped a screw or so they say and that is where it was leaking. During the repair of this, they ran my car through the car wash and when I picked up there was a huge crack in the windshield. They claim to not be responsible because they washed the car as a curtesy and they have a sign that say they are not responsible for windshield cracks, UGH. More
I had a few troubles with my Lincoln Continental. James was my service advisor. He did an excellent job working with the insurance to get all my issues addressed. This review is for the Service Department at San Tan Ford. I had the most wonderful experience and I want to let everyone know! Joshua Bash is my Service Advisor. He is WONDERFUL!!! I have brought my cars to San Tan Ford since you opened in 2007. I currently had a 2013 Ford Edge. It is my second 2013 Ford Edge. San Tan Ford did all the service on my first Edge, and you have been servicing my current Edge since I purchased it. Over the last 4 years I have had several surgeries on my left foot and ankle. In December of 2023 I had a total ankle replacement surgery. I have been non-weight bearing since. I have been stuck in my home for a few months now. Josh was aware of all of this since I have been bringing my car to him for so long. I called him and told him I needed to schedule an oil change and basic service. I told him that I was going to have a tough time bringing the car to him because I have to keep my foot and ankle elevated. Before I said anything else Josh told me that he would have someone come and pick up my car and drive it to get the service done. He then explained that the normal work would be done and if there were any additional concerns, he would contact me to see if I wanted to get the additional work done. I asked Josh how much this service costs and to my shock, he said NOTHING AT ALL! I literally started crying I was so grateful for this to be offered! I told him I would absolutely want to take advantage of this offer. He sent a very nice young man to pick up my car and he drove it to get the service completed. Josh contacted me and said that it was time to get the transmission flushed. As well he told me that the battery was leaking. I approved the transmission flush and told him that I thought that the battery was still under warranty at Auto Zone. He did the trans flush and then had the car delivered back to me. I paid Customer Service over the phone. It was so easy! Another nice young man delivered my car back to me and it was even washed when he brought it back. I looked into the issue with the battery and realized that this was the second time in 3 years that the battery was leaking. I called Josh back and told him I wanted to get the battery from Ford, that I was finished with Auto Zone. I told Josh that I trusted Ford more and wanted to schedule my car to have the battery changed. I asked him if we could schedule the same service where they pick up my car, do the service and then return it to me. I felt bad that I was already asking for the service again. Josh was so accommodating, so kind and so very nice. He assured me that it was no problem at all. A few days later they picked up my car, replaced the battery and then returned it to me. Once again, I paid Customer Service over the phone. And yes, the car was washed again. This was above and beyond customer service! The reason that I decided to get the battery from Ford is the service that Josh provided. He is truly an asset to San Tan Ford. I am one very loyal, very pleased and happy customer for life! San Tan Ford has always been timely and honest with their service, which I appreciate greatly. I will say however, with a $70 oil change, would it kill them to put out a box of doughnuts in the waiting room service, which I appreciate greatly. Possible miss-diagnosis of the source of an oil leak may have cost me hundreds of dollars. Every other service has been completed with no issues. San Tan Ford use to be the premier Ford dealer in Arizona, and had a superb serve center, but alas like everything else today, it has fallen way short. I have been a loyal customer since we bough Arizona, and had a superb serve center, but alas like everything else today, it has fallen way short. I have been a loyal customer since we bought both our vehicle for tm them, however they have recently resorted to bait and switch tactics to get our service. Recently they sent me a e-mail coupons for an Oil change and multipoint inspection, tie rotation, etc, with my vehicle model identified on the e-mail and my VIN, so I know it was not a mistake, however the day I brought my vehicle in they service manager claimed they could not honor it because it was cost more just for the oil. I paid the larger fees and was pleasant, but was furious inside. I could not help but think they are so dishonest and made me think about all the other things I had asked them to do for my truck over the years (well over $10k worth of effort) and what they lied about them and what they ripped me off on in those previous visits. As the local Ford dealer they not only represent themselves as a dealer and service center, they represent Ford Motor Company as a whole. Long story long, we had to sell our 2016 Ford Fusion with 69 themselves as a dealer and service center, they represent Ford Motor Company as a whole. Long story long, we had to sell our 2016 Ford Fusion with 69,096 miles on it for $1200.00 to a wholesale "junker" company today due to a vavle failure causing a need for a complete engine replacement. We replacement the engine via our extended warranty (purchased with the new car) due to a known problem with the 1.5 Eco Boost engine the Ford Motor Company issued a service bulletin on a little over 2 years ago at 55,000 miles. The car was purchased new from San Tan Ford. During the whole process we had zero support from San Tan Ford or Ford Motor Company and was told all along this will be an out of pocket expense, $9,000.00! I will never service another vehicle at San Tan Ford, I have had 3 Ford F150's for work trucks, and put 1000 miles per week on them, and we will never buy a new Ford vehicld again even though our family has been buying Fords in AZ and WI for over 50 years. I have never been more frustrated with a 100% paid of vehicle thinking you will use it for 3-5 more years only to sell it for $1200.00, where in good working order we could sell it for $12,000.00 based on current miles.
