I was very reluctant to trade in my H3 Hummer. This was the car of my dreams, except for the horrible gas mileage. I was referred to Christian Ramirez at Sands Chevrolet by my daughter who continued to the car of my dreams, except for the horrible gas mileage. I was referred to Christian Ramirez at Sands Chevrolet by my daughter who continued to reiterate that I needed an economical car. I've purchased many cars over the years and I wasn't too fond of salemen or the finance deparments. Christian helped answer many questions and never pressured me into buying anything. From the beginning I told him what type of car I was interested in and what I could afford. We decided on an Equinox. I still was able to keep a SUV type vehicle and it had twice the gas mileage of my H3. About 2 years ago I rented an Equinox and took it on a road trip, so I was a bit familiar with the 2011 model. After deciding to purchase the vehicle, the finance department was very accommodating and met all my expectations. This has never happened before. This was the "best experience" at any dealership. Not only was this the best experience, I did not have to spend all day at this facility. They expedited all my paperwork and purchasing an excellent used car only took a short amount of time.
