I was looking for a used vehicle, and had been referred to Sands Chevrolet. I was told they were honest and friendly there. I told her what I was looking for and when I arrived at the dealership the next morning she had already pulled around some vehicles for me to take a look at. I chose a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox and she went through all the features with me and then she and her team worked with me on a great deal with a price I could fit into my budget. She was down-to-earth and understood when I told her what I needed in a car (a reliable vehicle with low mileage, and a backseat that fit 3 carseats for my young grandchildren, and had decent mpg for my long work commute). She didn't do the "hard sell" or "bait and switch" that I had heard horror stories about from people who'd visited other area dealerships. She really listened to what I wanted; and then helped me get the best price I could have hoped for. Initially I though my experience was great, but after I left and about a week or so later I was told my terms were changing to a higher interest rate and shorter term. I was very disappointed by the changes and extremely upset by all the changes after I left with the car. Had she not loved the car I would have returned it and went somewhere else. Additionally after completing a referral sheet at the time of purchase a friend was contacted and personal (and embarrassing) information was shared. More
