First of all, Sands Chevrolet had the vehicle I had been looking for for several months, the Equinox LT, Cardinal Red, AWD. I had found the vehicle via the internet on the Sands Website. Jim Barber was the looking for for several months, the Equinox LT, Cardinal Red, AWD. I had found the vehicle via the internet on the Sands Website. Jim Barber was the sales person that I worked with. The overall experience was Great! The dealership and Jim are very very friendly and I received what I tought was an excellent price for the vehicle with no haggling. This was very pleasant, no back and forth stuff. Signing all the paper work didn't take very long either. The vehicle was clean and with a full tank of gas when I took possession. Prior to the purchase, Jim took me for a test drive and explained the various options on the vehicle. He knew the car very well. Jim even helped walk through the set up for the On-Star and SiriusXM Stations after I had purchased the vehicle. ANOTHY VERY FRIENDLY WHEN SELLING CAR, INFORMATION TO BRING, BAD. MADDY IN FINANCE VERY FRIENDLY, BUT HAD TO SIGN NEW CONTRACT, NO REASON SENT, HAD TO CALL TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON, ANOTHY WAS HARD TO BRING, BAD. MADDY IN FINANCE VERY FRIENDLY, BUT HAD TO SIGN NEW CONTRACT, NO REASON SENT, HAD TO CALL TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON, ANOTHY WAS HARD TO GET INTO TOUCH WITH, HAD TROUBLE GETTING HIM TO PU MY CAR TRADED IN. CALLED FOR MADDY ON FINANCE TO CALL AND LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING, NO PHONE CALLS AS OF DATE. WE WERE UP FRONT ON BANKRUPPTY AND WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL LETTERS FROM BANKS OF NOT ACCEPTING CREDIT, MADDY SAID IT WAS GREAT, WE KNEW BETTER. ALL THE ATTEMPTS AT FINANCE HAS REALLY HURT OUR CREDIT RATING. WE WERE PRE APPROVED FOR FINANCE BEFORE WE BOUGHT THE CAR BY A LOAN ON THE INTERNET. WE LOVE THE CAR, BUT NO ONE EXPLAINED HOW THE OPTIONS WORKED, IT WAS HIT OR MISS IN FIGURING OUT ALL OF THE STUFF IT WILL DO, CRUZE CONTROLLL, RADIO, SEAT ADJUSTMENT, HOW THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMITTION WORKED. I PUT IN MANUAL SHIFT INSTEAD OF AUTO AND HAD TO RETURN TO THE DEALER SHIP, ANOTHER EMPLOYED SHOWED US HOW TO PUT INTO REGULAR AUTO SHIFT. DID NOT KNOW HOW TO OPEN THE GAS LEVEL AT THE GAS STATION, (THOGHT THERE WAS A LEVER TO PULL, FINALLY HIT THE FUEL DOOR AND IT OPENED. WE THOUGHT THE ONLY WAY TO OPEN THE TRUCK WAS WITH THE KEY BUTTON, FINALLY FOUND THE BUTTON TO UNLOCK THE TRUCK. A FEW MINUTES OF TIME WOULD HAVE STOPPED A LOT OF HEADACHE FOR US. MY BROTHER IN LAW BOUGHT A NEW HONDA FROM SHOWCASE AND THEY WERE VERY THROUGHAL IN EXPLAINING ALL OF THE FITURES FOR HIS CAR. I WISH SANDS WOULD HAVE DONE US THE SAME WAY. More
