He reached out to us but did not stalk us about buying a car (which we liked). We were hoping to wait until Sept. but finally had enough of our current vehicle when the check engine light and other warnings came right after an oil change. Enough was enough and Jon was able to work with us and put us in a truck we had been looking at. We had a variety of options and checked out 4 vehicles before finally settling on a 2017 Chevy Silverado. He gave us time when we asked for it and never felt pushy. Would recommend him to other shoppers. More
Liars With Empty Promise We told them we did not want to take the car unless everything was finalized. They did the whole "Congratulations on your new car." Signed paperwork a We told them we did not want to take the car unless everything was finalized. They did the whole "Congratulations on your new car." Signed paperwork and everything. Then a week later they call saying I need to go in to sign paperwork and that they needed to straighten a couple small things out, when I asked what those couple of things were, they reassured me that it was nothing, everything was fine and that I will just be signing paperwork. I go in and they tell me I need a co-signer, I lost the new car and got my trade in back with adhesive from a sticker on the windshield and less than a 1/4 tank of gas (I traded it in with almost a full tank) and the USB phone charger I left by accident stolen. Once they knew the deal was not going to work, the"customer service" was not there anymore. I had to go back in the building and ask for the registration for my trade in. Also when we were asked if we could come up with any money down to help the deal, we offered money down, guy said he'd be back to let us know if it will work, after waiting 30 mins we saw him exiting the building, joking around and socializing with co-workers then a different rep walks up and asks for the keys to the new car, I told him he could have them when I get the keys to my trade in, he said he needed to check the milage so I told him I may as well collect my things from the new car and he says, "Oh really? Do you have a lot of stuff in the car." While gathering my things from the new car, the guy walks away with my house keys. Terrible service, liars and fake. Perfect example of the reason why people use the term "Car Salesman" when referring to a deceitful liar. I would not recommend anyone else to Sands Chevrolet in Glendale AZ to risk the huge let down I experienced. My complaint is not that I did not get a deal approved, my biggest complaint and reason for writing this review is that we told them we did not want to take the car home unless the deal was official and finalized and they lied saying it was official, the deal was done. Not only do I have to deal with the fact that I lost my new car but I also have a lot of embarrassment to face when I return to work and have to explain why I'm back to driving my trade in instead of the new car. Terrible, ridiculous, and unprofessional. More
Talked into unnecessary services I took the car there with 3000 miles for the initial oil change and tire rotation. Service rep caught me off guard and talked me into unnecessary tire I took the car there with 3000 miles for the initial oil change and tire rotation. Service rep caught me off guard and talked me into unnecessary tire balancing and alignment for $180. This was confirmed as I saw two other customers after me in the waiting area get the same sales pitch. My guess is that the service reps are paid commissions for upselling additional services to customers. Shame on me for getting taken but it was 7:00AM and I had not yet had my morning coffee. More

still waiting.. service had van towed back to shop. they repaired the shaky front end..replaced tires etc..all ok now. BUT!! when tow truck driver loaded van on flatb service had van towed back to shop. they repaired the shaky front end..replaced tires etc..all ok now. BUT!! when tow truck driver loaded van on flatbed on pickup...he ripped the front shroud off front end when tightening straps in front of wife... No mention from service tech until I brought it up. He said he would go check. noted he would order new clips and complete repair when we are "out their way" again? Until the he said, he fixxed the problem to get us the vehicle back. it is a handicap van for our daughter, wheel chair etc.. No one from Sands let me know this, I had to call and question him, at first he said he did not know anything about the damaged shroud he would check...this was not factually true either, the driver and wife had already discussed the problem with him previously. We appreciate the efforts to resolve the problems. lot the size of sands..there had to be clips somewhere onsite, on another vehicle, junk pile ..don't know, just frustrated, not blaming anyone. Have spent 35 yrs in semiconductor manufacturing, as eng. mng for Intel, IBM, MOTOROLA, TEXAS INT, and consultant I am aware how hard it is to meet customer expectations. Not being 100% honest about the who, what, how, when facts on problems caused by your own people is evidence of a systemic problem, not any one individuals fault. Stuff happens..be up front, take responsibility, resolve the issue to the customers satisfaction , call them and insure there is no misunderstanding...that's how you keep customers , and get new customers...!
