Dealing with Ernesto (salesperson) was a treat, but it soon went south, and very quickly. I shopped for the car on-line and was given a very good on-line price on the exact car I wanted, so after taking t soon went south, and very quickly. I shopped for the car on-line and was given a very good on-line price on the exact car I wanted, so after taking the car for a test drive, they didn't have any 'record' of the on-line price they quoted me and tried to sell me the car at over $1000 above this price. Fortunately, I kept the email. But, this is not the car I ended up with as I really liked the high-end, fully loaded (and then some) Koup SX. Could I have gotten a better price elsewhere? probably, but i thought I ended up with a reasonably fair deal. Now, here's where everything went south. The car had a 3/8" lag bolt through the treads of a front tire. I insisted that the tire be replaced and they agreed. When I went to pick up the car, I specifically asked if the tire was replaced and Ernesto swore that it was, balanced, and the car aligned. Well, when I got the car home, i noticed a plug the size of a Buick in the front tire. My fault, I guess, for not checking at the dealership, but they out-right lied to me none the less. The expensive 45-series low profile tire does not hold air. When I called and insisted they replace the tire, they said the new tire will be in in two days, and I made an appointment. Guess what...it's wasn't; they didn't even order it! So, after wasting a morning, I have to go back yet again for a problem that should have been addressed before the car was picked up. Now, let's talk about dealer prep...Why should I have to wash all the windows myself? Why should I have to balance the tire pressure in all of the tires myself? This is just wrong. More

The car was a foot in the door (temporary)so I could get into a nicer vehicle, as we had agreed.(I had to do a modification on my home loan. As an active duty soldier in the US Army, I had to move from Washington State to Neptune, N.J. The economy shot any chance of selling my house, or renting it for the amount needed for mortgage, thus the modification fixed that issue.)With my credit not as good as it once was though,I was at the mercy of Sansone's Route 66 Kia, and I feel James in finance took full advantage of my situation. I purchased the Forte for $21,501 without extras like leather or moonroof. This was a starter car though, to prove myself and build a good relationship. Payments were made on time, and I SENT 2 NEW CUSTOMERS their way who purchased vehicles on my recommendation. Nearing 4000 miles on the engine, it was time to trade it in for a nicer car. I got the cold shoulder as I was told it had lost a considerable amount of value (two-thirds according to them). Now I understand once a vehicle is driven off the lot it loses some value, but this car was still new- no issues- with LESS THAN 4000 miles on it. It was a perfect car, with a trade-in value of no more than $14,000. I have yet to be contacted by Jessica, James, or anyone else at Sansone's Route 66 Kia after I left the last time, so I went somewhere else. I will not return and I will share this experience as well. Thanks to Pine Belt Chevrolet of Eatontown, N.J., I was able to get out of my under-driven, over-priced Kia and purchase a new Malibu 2011, which is a definate step up. As someone who has gone without most of my life, I find it hard to swallow how easily the finance team at Sansone's Route 66 Kia took advantage of my situation. They left me hanging out to dry. More
