My mother tried to buy a vehicle from them, and was treated horribly. She called and left several messages for them to call her back, never heard a word from them. She was going to pay cash on a $50k treated horribly. She called and left several messages for them to call her back, never heard a word from them. She was going to pay cash on a $50k plus vehicle, and they blew her off. So, we went elsewhere, and found someone who wanted her business. Would not recommend going to them, didn't seem very willing to help someone buy a vehicle. I guess when they trade in on another new vehicle in a few years, they will know not to even look here. More

Scummy dealership with sleazy salesmen. Spent the entire day going over and confirming pricing with an employee (who supposedly, verified with her manager) before making the hour and a half trip the next da day going over and confirming pricing with an employee (who supposedly, verified with her manager) before making the hour and a half trip the next day to finalize everything. I was passed around to 3 people before landing with James who has no business selling anything. After explaining, for the third time, my phone call the day prior, I was told that no employee is supposed to give out pricing over the phone. He also let me know that any dealership that does send pricing is doing that to just get you in the door, which they’ll then drive the price up when you’re physically there. Let me be clear, I was looking to lease a $25k Kia, so he comes back and says he’s at $430 something per month at 36/10, disregarding the fact I was asking for 36/15. Besides that, I let him know I got pricing off their “Online Store” which he told me it doesn’t include dealer fees and tax. I pulled up the sheet which showed the ~$2400 in fees/tax. He doubled down on his statement and told me that I was able to manipulate those numbers to get the price I wanted. I told him I had a couple other quotes along with Kia.com showing the price all within ~$15-$20 of each other. He said there’s no way to get that price, so I got up and thanked him for wasting my time. I was able to make it to another dealership a couple of days later and paid the price he said was impossible to get to (which, funnily enough was MSRP minus Kia rebates) I’ve purchased a lot of cars and have been to a few bad dealerships. James/Schaumburg Kia ranks up near the top of the worst salesmen/dealership experiences I’ve had. They seem to hold onto that mid-2000’s Kia reputation of being a cheap, subpar brand. If you take one step into the showroom, I’ll bet you get the same feeling. Take your business elsewhere, you’ll be doing yourself a favor. More

Made a huge mistake buying a used car here. Car died 2 weeks after purchase; lost my bank info written down on paper. Did not follow up on promises. Did not return phone calls. Provided false informati weeks after purchase; lost my bank info written down on paper. Did not follow up on promises. Did not return phone calls. Provided false information about my title, plates and registration, and threatened to tattle to the DOT that my 2nd down payment wasn't paid - but that's because they lost my bank info. There was no sensitivity that I am a Lyft driver and loss of use of my car and preventing progress on my registration impacts my income. It also prevents my refund of the rental car fees I incurred, which was over $ 1,000. My car also needed more maintenance right away even after the engine problem was fixed, such as a new battery that cost me over $200, and air filtration items. I'm out of work, and now more in debt because of the indifference and negligence of this dealership. Any sign of empathy was never followed through on. Mostly I've been ghosted, disappointed, and depressed. I've had to fight for everything with Hyundai - like pulling teeth to get any financial compensation from them. Note this is the 2nd car that I've had this problem with, and I haven't been compensated for my costs incurred by that one (since back in November 2020). More
Your list below should include the extremely skilled workers that service and repair your vehicles. Not just the average sales people who are selling them. They are the reason I would go back, not becau workers that service and repair your vehicles. Not just the average sales people who are selling them.
