Manager (Phil P) and staff (Isaac B) are unprofessional and rude. I took my kia to have the automatic power door fix and an issue with on of my seat belt. After I had left my van, the service guy Isaac cal and rude. I took my kia to have the automatic power door fix and an issue with on of my seat belt. After I had left my van, the service guy Isaac called me and told me that the seat beat repair was not cover through the warranty and If i wanted it fix, Ill have to pay 1,200 something. I told him," that we only wanted the power door fix and that was all. He told me that, he will still have to charge me for the diagnostic fee of $165. Which he never told me about. I told him, you never told me there was a diagnostic fee. He stated that he told me about a diagnostic fee for the seat belt. When I denied he told, he told me he did and that I'm doing the same thing that other customers do when they find out how much the diagnostic fee is. By that time I was already mad due to the fact that he wanted me to pay for something that I was not aware of. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager called me. As I'm explaining what happens, he interupts me and says, " If you wouldn't of agreed on the diagnostic fee then we wouldn't of service your car." He basically said I was lying. Well that didn't help the situation at all. I told him that he didnt even let me finish telling him everything and that he interrupted me. Phil said I didnt interupt up. Me: yes you did. Phil: (sarcasticly) says. okay Ms. so no one is allow to talk, only you can talk. Lets let Ms. talk until she is finish. You been talking for 10 mins. Me: I haven't been on the phone with you for 10 mins. By this time I had enough. Things really fired up after that. I finally asked to speak with a supervisor and he said, " there was no one higher than him. He was the manager. Okay tell me who you want to speak with." Me: Not you someone higher than you. I told him to give me corporates number. Which he did. I called kia affairs line. I put in a complaint. I ask the person from the affair line to help me out, with who I can speak to about the inccident. She advised me to called Kia Service and ask to speak with the general manager or the owner. I called and the reception and she forward my call to the general manager's (Ricky P) VM. I left a message and of course he never returned my call. Well the following day, I went to pick up my van. The service guy that help me out was sarcastic. I had his pen and my keys in one hand. He told me with a smirk and sacastic, " can have my pen back? I know its a nice pen and all." Me: I'm going to steal your pen. I had me keys in the same hand(right) and I was just grabbing them with my left." He just continuing smirk. I left. I always have problem with this service dealer. This is not the first time. My advise go somewhere else. The service dealer in Palatine is so much better. More

I brought my car in for a recall along with some other issues, the main one being my car was shaking when applying the breaks above around 35 mph. After work was done, on the drive home I noticed it was s issues, the main one being my car was shaking when applying the breaks above around 35 mph. After work was done, on the drive home I noticed it was still shaking. Obviously, no one test drove the vehicle to see if the repairs actually fixed the issue. I picked up the vehicle October 1st, and first called that afternoon. It is now October 11th; I've called almost every day since I picked up the vehicle, and I've left 3 voice mails. I have not received any communication back. I'm not sure how this place is in business if this is how they treat their customers. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. More

Kudos to all the staff at Schaumburg Kia, this is the first dealership where staff is welcoming and does not make the buyer feel pressured into making a decision, rather they encourage you to be as well first dealership where staff is welcoming and does not make the buyer feel pressured into making a decision, rather they encourage you to be as well informed as possible. My Sales Rep Aldo spent a FULL HOUR explaining the features of my new Telluride, and ensured I knew how to use them. Aldo, thank you for taking the time to explain all the features, and for staying over an hour past closing time to help me set up my Kia App and connect my phone via Bluetooth before I left the dealership. Aldo made the purchase and negotiation process so much less intimidating. Mike Mallory in Finance was also wonderful to work with, explaining the different warranties, what my payment terms would be and the exact date of my first payment so I could set up a calendar appointment as a reminder. Thank you for making this experience less stressful and allowing me to drive away feeling informed and at ease. More
