I have always had a great experience at Schmelz Countryside Volkswagen. Their technicians do a fantastic job, and I love that they send me a video of my car and specifically show me the repairs are Countryside Volkswagen. Their staff has always been incredibly polite to me. They listen to what I have to say and answer all of my questions. I have never felt taken advantage of here, as I have with so many other places. I purchased my first Volkswagen from here and kept it for 12 years until I, recently, purchased a new care from them. I decided to purchase my car at this location because I appreciate their honesty and professionalism. Once again, I have to give a shout out to Shevawn, who is almost always my service representative. She is truly amazing and is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to this dealership for my vehicle purchases, maintenance, and repairs. She has excellent communication skills, is professional, and incredibly friendly and relatable. She, also, provides me with updates during my car maintenance and repairs and informs me about all of my options, as well as, estimates for any repairs. If she hasn't been promoted or given a significant raise (I wouldn't know this kind of information), she 100% deserves them! I can't say enough positive things about this woman. Was sold an overpriced car that the dealership knew was defective. Dishonest salesman and finance officer. Was not given all the options to buy the car I did want to buy. Asked the salesman to put more in and he said he would but didn’t because he knew the fix sensor light would go on when the gas cap was open and gas was put in. The warning light came on the next morning after purchase when o put gas in. I also need to put in a quart of oil every 400 miles. Now I own a lemon with 133000 miles and a 12000 loan. More
