I have been going to Schmelz Countryside VW since I bought my first Beetle in 1971. Over the years, I have purchased vehicals from Schnmelz Countryside including 4 Beetles, 2 Saabs, a Jetta (actually, bought my first Beetle in 1971. Over the years, I have purchased vehicals from Schnmelz Countryside including 4 Beetles, 2 Saabs, a Jetta (actually, I got the Jetta in Boston for my daughter, but when she moved. to NYC I ended up with the car, but I used Schmelz for service) , and a couple of Rabbits. Both the sales people and the service people have never disappointed me. I remember once I went to a different VW dealer to see if I could get a better price, which I could, however I did not appreciate the rather sexist attitude of the female sales associate at the other place. She refused to direct any of her conversation to me, only to my husband, and he NEVER was the one to wheel and deal and research our cars when we were looking, so I decided I would go back to Countryside even if I had to pay more. And, on a few occasions when I wasn't happy about something, Schmelz ALWAYS made it right. I just hope they can convince Volkswagon to bring back the Beetle as an e car! Someone told me they could call it the "Lightening Bug." I like that. More
