First of all, I hate pushy sales people and sales people that jumps on you when you drive into a dealership. My experience at Scott Clark was neither. When I first arrived, I was greeted with a kind smi that jumps on you when you drive into a dealership. My experience at Scott Clark was neither. When I first arrived, I was greeted with a kind smiling face. Of course sales people are suppose to smile, but you can tell that Luis Porras smile is genuine. He asked what we were looking for and what was important for our family. I felt he was listening, given I was a woman. He spoke to me, not just my husband. In reality, he spoke mostly to me. If he only spoke to my husband, I would have left the dealership. Luis showed us options that met our criterias and let us talk, stating our dislikes and likes. I asked him to sell me his product because I was not convince I wanted to buy an Accord. He spoke honestly and with passion. I respect someone that can be honest but believes in what they are selling. Summarized, I left the dealership with a new Accord that night. I got a great deal and my experience was great. I do not write reviews unless I believe I received exceptional service. I also write bad ones, when a provider needs improvement. If you are looking for a pleasant experience while looking for a car, I would whole heartily recommend Luis Porras at Scott Clark. Tell them Sharon Middle sent you. More
I've bought 3 Civics at this and the predecessor dealer. I've been extremely happy with them both for buying my cars and servicing them. Robert was terrific, he was knowledgeable and friendly. Working with Robert was a great experience. We had previously purchased another vehicle from him and his professionalism and knowledge made our decision to work with him a no brainer. Robert will tell you the positives/negatives if any, depending on what you are looking for in a vehicle even if it means losing the sale. My purchasing experience with sales representative Carlos Zarama at Scott Clark Honda Charlotte ,NC was great he went out of his way to satisfy my requirements in regards to price and car color on a 2013 Hon Zarama at Scott Clark Honda Charlotte ,NC was great he went out of his way to satisfy my requirements in regards to price and car color on a 2013 Honda Accord I wanted. He has called back many times to me to check on our happeness with the car. My only concern in my visiting Scott Honda in Charlotte,NC was with the finance manager and associates using high pressure tatics to sell me an extended warranty which I didn't want or need (because the dealership offered a lifetime drivetrain warrany for free) even after me expressing my desires that I didn't want the other warranty.The second problem developed after the dealership sent out letters of credit refusal to me (after I had already taken delivery)and 50 other customers that was not factual (were actually caused by a computer problem) and the taking of over 30 days and many telephone call to get a letter from them stating my credit was ok that I could sent to the credit bureaus for my protection later on if needed. I will recommend Carlos for sure but be on your guard when it its time to sign for the vehicle in the finance department. Roger Clark More
