Worst experience ever I had the worst experience at Scott Clark while looking for a used Camry. I found a car on the website and called about it. I ended up speaking to I had the worst experience at Scott Clark while looking for a used Camry. I found a car on the website and called about it. I ended up speaking to Frank. He said yes, come on down you can drive it. Within a few minutes he called back to tell me the car was sold. I thanked him for his time and said if I see anything else on your site I will let you know. A couple days later my husband and I went to the dealership to check and see what they had. I asked for Frank as he was the only person I had any contact with. He said he would drive me around the lot and we will find a car. He got upset at another salesman and proceed to call him fat when he was parked in Franks's path. He then took a call from a customer and was very rude with the customer on the phone and just kept telling him to come down there by the time he gets there the car will be on the lot. If he spoke to me that way on the phone I would have never showed up to meet him for anything. We did find a 2011 Camry with low miles. The car was not priced and we had to wait about 45 minutes for them to do this. They came back with a price about $3000 higher that I wanted to spend. Here it goes...the ole haggle game. After Frank talked himself in circles and asked me literally 7 times what does he need to do to put me in the car today and me giving him the same answer 7 times (lower the price of the car)he went and got the "sales Manager" He talked himself in circles as Frank did but eventually we agreed on a price $1000.00 higher than I wanted to spend. My financing was taken care of at my credit union however they weren't open again until Monday morning. I said I will be back with my check to pick up the car Monday morning. Frank said leave a personal check for the amount of the car. I said no, I am not doing that. The finance guy wanted me to go ahead and sign all the papers...including signing my trade in over to them. I politely said I would feel more comfortable doing that when I have my check in hand. The finance guy say ok, no problem that he would be there 9am Monday morning. I received my buyers slip to take to my bank and told Frank I will be back Monday. He said they are detailing your car now. See you Monday. I called Frank Monday morning to ensure the car was ready and he advised me the car was sold. He then said it was my fault as I didn't pay for it. I assume because I didn't write him a check for the full price of the vehicle??? (which by the way I don't have in my personal checking account) Frank was very harsh and rude during the entire experience but especially Monday morning.. He was very derogatory toward others (co-works) including calling them fat and an idiot. I have never been treated in such a way in my life. When I left Saturday Frank and the finance guys assured me that was my car, and it was marked sold. I am thankful the car was sold because I really didn't feel comfortable buying from them as the entire deal just seemed shady throughout each step. Please do yourself a favor and visit a different Toyota dealer. I would walk before I bought a car from Scott Clark. More

The Worst Vehicle Purchasing Experience of My life!! I Spent 4 hours working a deal on a new 2014 Toyota Tundra. I Was at the dealership till 10pm on a Thursday night. I was told by the sales manager that they couldn't get the pay off on my vehicle due the late hour of night and would have to finish the deal the next day. He said they would contact me in the morning to finish the deal. The sales person Saab, left around 6:30pm without even notifying me he was evening leaving. I was never contacted back the next day by anyone from Scott Clark Toyota. I called the dealership around 4pm the next and spoke to the internet sales manager. He said he would find out what happened and contact me back. He also never called back. I have to say this was the worst Dealership I have ever had to deal with!! I will Never give Scott Clark my business again. I suggest if you are thinking of purchasing a vehicle from Scott Clark's you save yourself a lot of time and trouble and find a better dealership. More

My rating after my initial visit would have been much higher, because they were quick, efficient, got me out the door in the car....but then... ...it took over 2 weeks for them to get the package to the higher, because they were quick, efficient, got me out the door in the car....but then... ...it took over 2 weeks for them to get the package to the finance company, so I was on pins and needles driving a car that wasn't even funded or even close to it. It took 2.5 weeks for them to actually take the down payment from my bank account. ...I had taken care of my obligations within the first 72 hours of having the car- paid taxes, filed appropriate paperwork with DMV, etc. ...I get a phone call at the end of week 2 asking me to come in and re-sign finance paperwork. Turns out the finance company actually did me a solid and made them lower the cost of the car because I was so grossly overcharged. Thanks for looking out for the single mom, Scott Clark. Good thing the financing company caught it before you totally fleeced me. ...on day 6 of week 4 (I'm on a 30 day tag, remember...) I get a letter saying they need more pieces of identification from me at the dealership to be able to tag/title the car. After FOUR WEEKS. ...I take the pieces of information they need to the dealership the next day after receiving the letter (no one called, emailed, or tried to contact me about this in any other way) and since this was the day my paper tag expired, I asked if I could receive another paper tag...and this is what I was told: "NO, MY ADVICE IS TO NOT GET IN FRONT OF A COP. IF YOU DO, WE'LL PAY THE EXPIRED TAG TICKET." WHAT?! Are you kidding me? I'm a single mom who has busted her butt making ends meet, doing everything by the book, and now you're telling me to drive on expired tags and just "HOPE" I don't get pulled over? What kind of customer service is that?!?! I am two years out of a divorce and was literally scared to go into a car dealership alone (without a man) because I was scared of being taken advantage of.
