He is extremely knowledgeable about the 2014 RAV4 Limited and the 2014 Prius V Five that we bought recently. He is very friendly with an excellent sense of humor as well as being exceptionally helpful throughout all the ins and outs of car buying as well as the trading in of our 2 older Toyota SUVs. Scott Clark Toyota is an exceptionally well run and organized car dealership. The service department is the largest that we have seen. It is exceedingly clean and orderly in appearance. Every one that we dealt with during the purchase and trade in experience was particularly well suited to their tasks required to proceed to the next step in closing the sales. More
To many pricing games With the ability to do online research of (almost) everything that goes into the pricing of a new car, it's amazing that car dealerships still play th With the ability to do online research of (almost) everything that goes into the pricing of a new car, it's amazing that car dealerships still play the games they do with customers and the price of a new car. Anyone who's half-way savvy with online research (and has the time) can walk into a dealership with a price they are comfortable paying. It's unfortunate the person(s) that are not as technically competent, often the older population (I will leave it to someone else to define "older population"), are the ones that are taken advantage of. My research included looking at the website for 40 Toyota dealerships in NC. The Doc Fee for these dealerships ranged from $0 to $699. Guess who had the highest Doc Fee ($699) in NC? The average Doc Fee for all Toyota Dealerships in NC was about $500. The honest dealerships have said goodbye to the days of "Make me an offer". Unfortunately, dealerships such as this one still operate on the archaic practice of trying to get as much money as they can from their "customer". I have previously purchased a 2004 and 2010 4Runner and serviced both exclusively at this dealership. This matters not because this time, however, I was unable to make a deal for the vehicle I wanted. My guess is that the sales manager concluded someone else would be willing to pay more for the vehicle and, therefore, they didn't have to take my offer. As soon as I received the email saying they would "pass" on my offer, I called another dealership and in less than 15 minutes had an agreement to purchase the 4Runner I wanted. No games. None of the "Let me take your offer to my sales manager and see what we can do." Over the years, I've been told by multiple salespersons at multiple dealerships that the profit center of a dealership is the Service Department. It stands to reason if you consider how often you visit a service department and the amount of money (beyond a basic oil change/tire rotation) you spend at each visit. Because of this experience, I will have my new 2014 4Runner serviced at another dealership. More

We always get our cars from family friends/mechanics. I was a little skeptical, but honestly the whole experience went above and beyond my expectations. I visited another dealership nearby & Scott Clark Toyota blew them out of the water in all areas. First of all the site was awesome. Very clean, shiny, accommodating, open & comfortable. Every person I came in contact with was friendly and willing to help. James Rucker was the first person we really sat down & talked with. He was very easy to talk to, approachable, helpful & knowledgeable. The next time we came back, Travis Wilson & Jason Liles were available to meet with us and they walked alongside of us throughout the rest of our process. They both were super friendly & I genuinely liked both of them. They weren't pushy at all & were really understanding of what we were looking for and how much we could spend. I really appreciated that. They made this so easy for me, someone who had never really experienced shopping for a new car. I feel confident about my decision to buy from this dealership and already have recommended them to friends who are looking. I can't say enough good things about Jason & Travis. I have especially been really impressed with how Jason has continued to follow up with me and make sure everything is going good with my car & to ask if I needed anything. Highly Recommended! My wife and I went to Scott Clark to find my wife a more family friendly vehicle. We had it narrowed down to two models, the 4Runner and the Highlande My wife and I went to Scott Clark to find my wife a more family friendly vehicle. We had it narrowed down to two models, the 4Runner and the Highlander. Our salesman had us drive both vehicles and took the time to explain the difference in trim packages so we could decide what we needed. At no point did we feel rushed or pushed to make a decision. It was a pleasant experience and I will choose Scott Clark for our next car. More

Travis and Jason were not only a huge help, but they were able to work with So, I recently purchased a Scion FRS from the guys at Scott Clark Toyota. Travis and Jason were not only a huge help, but they were able to work with me and offer an exceptional experience. The part that I probably enjoyed the most is that they didn't "push" me into buying the car. They realised that all they had to do was guide me to the right choice. If you're in the market for a new car, all you have to do is go see these two gentlemen and they'll make it happen! The location is wonderful, being right off of 485 makes it very convenient. The only regret that I have is that I can't give them more than five stars! Go to Scott Clark Toyota!! On a side note, Travis, Jason, and Mallory were the only ones that provided excellent service. Unfortunately, when I came back to speak to Mallory one evening about my purchase, I feel that there was a very rude comment made by one of the other salesmen. I'm still going to give the dealership as a whole 5 stars because they deserve it! I just hope that a few bad apples don't ruin the bunch. More
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE My car was hit by a deer totaling it and I didn't have a back up option. Reggie and his team came and picked me up from my house and drove me back to the dealership so that I could look at the options in my price range. I found a used Toyota RAV4 that fit what I wanted in my next vehicle. It had just been traded in but they were able to clean it and get it all ready for my while I filled out the paperwork. They were very patient while I looked at the options and debated between this perk and that one. Overall, I had an amazing experience! I would definitely consider going back should I have need for another car (new or used) in the future. More
Worst experience ever I had the worst experience at Scott Clark while looking for a used Camry. I found a car on the website and called about it. I ended up speaking to I had the worst experience at Scott Clark while looking for a used Camry. I found a car on the website and called about it. I ended up speaking to Frank. He said yes, come on down you can drive it. Within a few minutes he called back to tell me the car was sold. I thanked him for his time and said if I see anything else on your site I will let you know. A couple days later my husband and I went to the dealership to check and see what they had. I asked for Frank as he was the only person I had any contact with. He said he would drive me around the lot and we will find a car. He got upset at another salesman and proceed to call him fat when he was parked in Franks's path. He then took a call from a customer and was very rude with the customer on the phone and just kept telling him to come down there by the time he gets there the car will be on the lot. If he spoke to me that way on the phone I would have never showed up to meet him for anything. We did find a 2011 Camry with low miles. The car was not priced and we had to wait about 45 minutes for them to do this. They came back with a price about $3000 higher that I wanted to spend. Here it goes...the ole haggle game. After Frank talked himself in circles and asked me literally 7 times what does he need to do to put me in the car today and me giving him the same answer 7 times (lower the price of the car)he went and got the "sales Manager" He talked himself in circles as Frank did but eventually we agreed on a price $1000.00 higher than I wanted to spend. My financing was taken care of at my credit union however they weren't open again until Monday morning. I said I will be back with my check to pick up the car Monday morning. Frank said leave a personal check for the amount of the car. I said no, I am not doing that. The finance guy wanted me to go ahead and sign all the papers...including signing my trade in over to them. I politely said I would feel more comfortable doing that when I have my check in hand. The finance guy say ok, no problem that he would be there 9am Monday morning. I received my buyers slip to take to my bank and told Frank I will be back Monday. He said they are detailing your car now. See you Monday. I called Frank Monday morning to ensure the car was ready and he advised me the car was sold. He then said it was my fault as I didn't pay for it. I assume because I didn't write him a check for the full price of the vehicle??? (which by the way I don't have in my personal checking account) Frank was very harsh and rude during the entire experience but especially Monday morning.. He was very derogatory toward others (co-works) including calling them fat and an idiot. I have never been treated in such a way in my life. When I left Saturday Frank and the finance guys assured me that was my car, and it was marked sold. I am thankful the car was sold because I really didn't feel comfortable buying from them as the entire deal just seemed shady throughout each step. Please do yourself a favor and visit a different Toyota dealer. I would walk before I bought a car from Scott Clark. More
