Made appointment in advance to have 12v battery replaced. Arrived at 8:45. Called at 11:26 to see if completed and was not. Received call at 11:48 noting needed battery and authorized work, again. Called back at 1:22 to see if completed and was told not completed. Never received return call, so called again at 3:06 and left message and was told service advisor, Mark Morrow, would return my call. Never received return call, so obtained ride to dealership as thought surely after leaving vehicle there since 8:45 that morning and receiving word that they would proceed to replace the battery, that it would be completed. Arrived and was told that it was not completed as they were out of the battery and had to order, so had to call back person who had dropped me off and asked them to return to pick me up as dealership had no idea when would have service completed. Made phone calls this morning to reschedule appointments for today since without vehicle and anticipate will need to do same tomorrow. Still, at 9:30am on Monday have yet to receive call in response to my scheduled appointment and three calls made to inquire about status and completion of repair on Saturday. When made appointment in advance for battery replacement, the dealership must have not checked in stock condition. Additionally, even after leaving vehicle there and making 3 separate calls to inquire about status, was still never told that battery was out of stock. Had I not physically gone there end of the day to check, I still would not have been notified of vehicle repair status or that battery is out of stock. Understand that sometimes parts need to be ordered, but the complete lack of communication or respect of my time and now necessary rescheduling of weeks' appointments with my customers due to the lack of communication is disturbing. The irony is that in the next 3 weeks we will be purchasing a new vehicle as already have financing set up and were going to purchase one from this dealership. With this type of customer service, I will be shopping at another dealership that values customer service. Very disappointing. More

My car was due for registration renewal & state safety inspection which I thought any outstanding safety recalls might cause it not to pass so I made an appointment a couple of weeks in advance to have th inspection which I thought any outstanding safety recalls might cause it not to pass so I made an appointment a couple of weeks in advance to have the recall parts ordered and the fix completed. I received notification that the parts were at the dealership well in advance of the appointment. I live over 15 miles from the dealership so could not use the courtesy shuttle and was, therefore, forced to wait there while the work was completed. I arrived five minutes early for the appointment but was made to wait 4.5 hours to fix the second recall for the same passenger side airbag which should have taken less than half that time to complete. I was then lied to and told my car would not pass inspection because the airbag light was illuminated due to a faulty sensor in the driver's side seatbelt assembly. I was told it would cost over $650 for that job IF they had the "Toyota only" part, which the advisor said would have to be ordered and MIGHT come in after two weeks or more. When I left, I called my own, HONEST, mechanic and was informed that the airbag light is not a part of the state safety inspection so I stopped on my way home and was able to have the state inspection successfully completed with no problem. Since then I received an email from Scott Clark Toyota again recommending that I make an appointment to have the seat belt sensor repaired. SORRY GUYS! I'll stick with my own mechanic, who I KNOW is honest and won't try to pressure me into repairing something that doesn't have to be done right away! This is EXACTLY the type of treatment that gives dealerships a bad name! More
We are longtime sct customers and have survived the many changes over the last 40 years. We don't appreciate some of the sales tactics and respectfully decline because we have had at least two bad experie changes over the last 40 years.
