Got charged 200 plus dollars for a diagnostic that could have told me my battery was low. Could have done that for free with triple A or auto zone. Their is a multi point vehicle inspection with very little have told me my battery was low. Could have done that for free with triple A or auto zone. Bad experience after purchasing the car, I put down a deposit of 300.00 to hold the car I was interested in with the promise from the sells person that the 300.00 would be return to my credit card, Scran deposit of 300.00 to hold the car I was interested in with the promise from the sells person that the 300.00 would be return to my credit card, Scranton never return the deposit until I called them, then they deducted 120.00 from the 300.00 saying that I owe them for the registration fee. When I went to Scranton to sign the paperwork, I asked the financial person if she had deducted enough for the Registration because I didn't want to have to pay any money after, because I want everything to be finance and not have any out-of-pocket expenses, I was told not to worry about it because she had called the RI DMV to make sure of the fees for the car registration were collected. Found out later that they made a mistake and got a new registration instead of doing just a transfer of plates, hereby the extra money for the registration. They sent me a check and I return it due to the fact that it was less than my deposit to hold the car and should have been returned right after my purchase of the car., someone called me to find out why the check was returned, I was transfer to the Sells manager, which just happen to be the most arrogant and rude Indvidual that I ever had to deal with. I told him that it was very unprofessional to use my Deposit to hold the car to pay for any shortness of any payment, he then told me that the 300.00 were a deposit to buy the car and could use it to pay for anything that wasn't paid at the signing that actually should have been final. Because of the rudeness of the Sells manager, I cut the phone call short. Finally, Scranton Chevy seems to be unable to communicate with each Department effectively, as I was told the problem was a miscommunication between Departments. Because of their error I lost a plate that was dear to my daughter the one person that I got the car for and now they want me to pay for their error. Also, after asking not to make too many credit inquiries as my credit score was 800, they end up making 5 inquiries, affecting my credit scores. Didn't like the Purchasing of the car with a lot of stress and anxiety about my trade in value, didn't like the process honesty and because I had to leave because of a prior commitment I still feel I didn't get a fair value for my car, but off course that will be on me. Disappointed and waiting for a resolution as they still own me 300.00 More
