Dropped vehicle off for appointment night prior to appointment. Service called at 230 pm on appointment day, hadn't looked at vehicle, were going to look at it prior to closing at 500 pm. I stated that I needed the vehicle back for the next day no matter what, fixed or not. She stated that they would leave the vehicle outside after diagnosing with keys in gas cap but they would call me back prior to 500 pm with diagnosis. No call at 5 pm, I called at 510 pm, service gone home for the day. Sales was still open, they stated my car was not outside, but instead left the vehicle nside the shop, not looked at yet. I picked up my undiagnosed vehicle thanks to the help of the sales department. I will no longer utilize Scranton for service and was in the market for a new vehicle, I instead purchased today a large GM SUV from a different dealership in Vernon, CT. More
This was the second attempted service to install a tow hitch along with two other issues (1. New issue: Radio malfunctioning and 2. Repeat issue: Transmission). The first service attempt for the tow hitch was unsuccessful due to the outsourced company not picking up the car in time to complete. As of now, we will once again need to come back for a third service as they were unable to assess the transmission (was told not enough time to review due to our schedule in needing the vehicle back) and the radio which is still malfunctioning. We purchased this vehicle on 9/13/21 and will now be up to our 3rd service request in just 6-7 weeks after purchasing the vehicle. While I understand the numerous issues impacting companies in the current climate, I do not appreciate having to return every two or so weeks in the hopes that our repeat issues will be resolved. At this point I can only hope that when we return once again on 11/8/21, it will be the last service required in order to resolve the repeated issues. More

Had a terrible experience with Dave Rogers and Rob Zeidenberg. Dave did not keep open communication - I had to call every time to find out what was wrong with my car. Took them two days to “find the issue” and “fix” it. Three hours after getting my car back, issue was back. Brought car back only for them to say they found the “other issue” but can’t get the part from a dealership in a neighboring state until the next week (with no guarantee on what day). When I asked if they could tell me what dealership it was located at, Rob first tried to tell me that he can’t give me that information because if I go calling around it’s going to “make his job harder.” After I pushed back on this, he then told me that he would need two hours to get back to me with that information because he “has other customers he needs to help first”. However, when I called a dealership in the neighboring state to see if I could find out where the part is, they happily helped within 5 minutes. I was able to locate the part myself and arrange to get it put in all within 20 minutes of my own efforts. Only after I called back to get their names for a complaint did the tone change and Rob was able to suddenly tell me exactly where the part was and when it could be expected. More
