Seattle Hyundai service department is an ever increasing disappointment. High prices that some mechanics suggest is price gouging, poor communication, unable to respond to communication when attempting to disappointment. Hyundai Tuscon Limited I purchased at this dealership that we brought in because the transmission (DCT) was not shifting- still well under the 10 year/100000 mile warranty. The service department didn't answer their phones and never returned my calls, FOR DAYS. I spent 3 hours on hold ONE DAY trying to reach them just to find out what the issue was with my car. A day later I left a message with the service manager - also no returned call. I even called Hyundai USA to see if they could help. After 3 days of this I finally drove in to show up in person to finally speak with someone just to get an update on what was wrong with the car and how long it would take. That being said, the service tech was great, very professional and showed exactly what was wrong with the car and why due to a technicality Hyundai only partially covered the repairs (which was very expensive and took 3 weeks to get parts). I understand it's a Hyundai, not a Mercedes, and did not have high expectations to begin with. But even their basic customer service was so bad it's difficult for me to understand how they run their business. Overall, other than the service tech, it's the worst service experience I have ever had (and I've owned over 30 cars) and will never go back to this dealer for anything ever. More
