This particular salesman is deceptive and led me to believe I was purchasing a vehicle for $10,000 less than I ended up paying. He then lied about it when confronted with it. believe I was purchasing a vehicle for $10,000 less than I ended up paying. He then lied about it when confronted with it. More
I wish I could give this dealer a ZERO rating! This is by far the worst dealership that I have ever dealt with. They make the buying process seem so smooth and easy at first, but don't be fooled. They are far the worst dealership that I have ever dealt with. They make the buying process seem so smooth and easy at first, but don't be fooled. They are VERY unprofessional. They never return phone calls. I had been looking into one of the Certified Pre-Owned vehicles and was promised that everything would be ready and that I could pick it up the following day. Well, they never called me back to give me the update on anything and this was the day I was supposed to pick up the car. I had been specifically dealing with Eddie Martinez. I had called him numerous time to find out the status. He finally did call back the very end of the day telling me they were waiting on a part for the car and that it would be ready the next day. Again the same problem, no calls to let me know whats going on the day I'm supposed to pick it up. I finally get a hold of him, again telling me it's not ready yet and hopefully I'd have it the following week. Then I get a phone call from Eddie the next day telling me the car is "no good" and that I can look into a different car. No thank you. They draw out the process of buying a car like you would not believe. I've wasted so much of my time with this so called dealership. I am currently trying to get my deposit back that I left, but of course.....I haven't received a return phone call from Security Dodge. I would never recommend this dealer anyone! More

This is the worst dealership in the world. They do not order cars when they said they did. They lie all the time telling you everything is good. Not a single person here knows how to use the telephone to order cars when they said they did. They lie all the time telling you everything is good. Not a single person here knows how to use the telephone to return a call. Do yourself a favor and drive away from this place. Wasted 7 weeks telling me they ordered the car and then am told we forgot. All the bad reviews are true. Andrew the salesman is clueless. This guy is an accident waiting to happen. Tom the sales manager does not know how to use a phone. Devin in internet sales kisses up till the sale then runs away. Chrysler or whoever took over this company should take this dealership away. They should not be allowed to ever sell used bikes let alone cars. Wish i found this review site before I dealt with them. Go to Westbury Jeep. Much better place to deal with. Hope Security Dodge-Jeep folds up and goes away. More
The experience I had at Security Dodge was perfect. From the first time I entered their dealership until well after I had my new car the staff at Security were understanding and honest. JJ was very helpful the first time I entered their dealership until well after I had my new car the staff at Security were understanding and honest. JJ was very helpful and found me exactly the car I was looking for at a very competitive price. They even called after the deal was done to check up and see how myself and the car was doing and if everything was OK. I would recommend Security Dodge to anyone for a great car buying experience. This is by far the WORST dealership I have evern dealt with in my life. I took a 4 hour drive to their delaership based on a lie made by a manager named Tom before I left, who wouldn't face me and had ano with in my life. I took a 4 hour drive to their delaership based on a lie made by a manager named Tom before I left, who wouldn't face me and had another manager John lie to me about the dealer maangers name. When I learned of his name (Joe Santosis), and contacted him later from home, he added insult to injury by promising to call me back and never doing so and then just leaving me on hold when I called back until I gave up. I was trying to purchase a 2011 Dodge Durango they had in stock and I explained to Eric in sales that I wanted the more current radio/navigation system and would pay the difference. We agreed on a price and I was to drive out to meet him, but it was a 2 hour drive each way and I had a newborn and my mother with me who was just starting chemotherapy. So I called back to explain the situation and make sure they understood I couldn't make 2 trips - I needed the radio swapped from another car on the lot when I came to buy it, since I was paying for it, they could use the money to backfill. Eric wasn't there and I made sure a manager was informed - that was Tom. He told the receptionist to tell me not to worry, they would make it happen. So I took the drive and when I got there I was told they couldn't do it. When I asked to speak to the manager, Tom wouldn't face me, so he sent John out. John was a very smug individual who told me that the price now went up by $1k. When I demanded to speak to the Dealership manager, he told me he wasn't in. I asked his name and he said "Joe". When I asked for his last name he said "Smith". I knew Joe Smith was actually one of the sales associates there so I went to the receptionist and she gave me Joe Santosis' name. I spoke with Mr. Santosis and explained the entire situation to him and he told me he'd call me back the next morning to arrange the sale - never called back. Two more unreturned voicemails and a 30 minute hold later, I gave up and called Chrysler back to let them know how poorly this dealership is operated and managed. More
I worked with Kevin for the sale of my 2011 Dodge Charger. It was a good experience but only good thing. A month after going for my car, the check engine light came on. It took 4 hrs to diagnose that Charger. It was a good experience but only good thing. A month after going for my car, the check engine light came on. It took 4 hrs to diagnose that there was a "Loose Gas Cap Seal". A week later, the check engine light came back on and I left the vehicle with them. Not only did they give me a new excuse for the reason of the light coming on, but also forgot to look at my car for a day. They forgot to order the new part (evap canistor) and when it came in, never called me. I had to follow up every time with them and also the woman Sherry, was nothing but a waste of time to talk to. She doesn't want to do her job. I had to call between 1pm and 3pm to speak to her for a rental car, which would've taken 3 weeks to get. I even emailed and left a message for the service manager, Kevin Mackey, and he didn't even respond to my requests. I had to call Chrysler Corp who helped me out. I have since returned to my previous dealer and they found the real problem (fuel filler tube). While the sales team is good, the service department is a horror and should be avoided at all costs. Clueless and dishonest is the first words to come to mind. I contacted them via the internet with very specific requirements on what I wanted in the car and the type of lease. All I got was a run arou mind. I contacted them via the internet with very specific requirements on what I wanted in the car and the type of lease. All I got was a run around before getting screwed. Every time I asked what was included in the price quote, I received a different answer. Either it included more than I wanted or less. The leasing deal was different each time I asked for details. At one point, they told me I can't get a specific option (power lift gate) in the car and I would have to buy a limited version. No option was available. This was not true as I drove the car at a different dealer with the option. Turns out they didn't have that car. I was then told they have the car. After verifying all the details again and in written (fax), I gave them a deposit and was scheduled to pick up on 3 days later. The day before I was supposed to pick up the car, I called them (they did not call me) to confirm a time when I was told the car was sold and the deal was off. Asking for a refund, they then told me they found the car on Friday night at another dealer. I've sent several texts each day and called but no reply. I'm letting the credit card fight to get my deposit back and in the process of complaining to BBB and NYS consumer affairs. I have all this in writing (mobile text) They are crooks and liars. Go elsewhere and don't look back. Best folks to deal with are at Garden City Jeep and Dodge. They are friendly, honestly, reasonable and responsive. Alex (sales manager) and Ken S. (Sales) are like family now. More
