Service couldn't get me in till the end of this week but once I complained they got me in on Monday 10-31. After bringing the car in on Monday they said there wasn't any codes so they shut the engine light off and insisted there was nothing wrong with the truck. Monday night the check engine light came back on called them up and I already had an appointment for today for a black package they said they would give us. Once I got to the dealership today I noticed the door pillar is falling off too. This is a brand new truck I paid $42.5k for and already been in for service twice this week. They gave me a Dodge Dart loaner car which is absolutely filthy and when I asked how come the loaner was not clean the girl replied at least they interior is clean, which it is not there's ashes and crumbs every where. I also requested a full size loaner car because I bought a jeep and need the extra space and they said "we only have a Dodge Dart". I'm extremely unhappy with security dodge and prob will never buy a car from them again. After complaining, I was told the recall required a "certified mechanic". I wasn't told anything about that when I called and said " oil change and recall. " Someone named Wendy (, not very personable, shouldn't work with customers ) tried to tell me at 10:30 " There is a plate that has a lot of screws, that has to be removed, in order to do the oil change. She said they were just starting it now!" Are you kidding? It's just being put on the lift now? 3 hours later? Just for the record, the recall didn't require anything " mechanical work" at all! Take out the recalled tool, put the replacement in its place! They sent a Service manager to speak to us and he tried to explain that when there are two things on the ticket, like mine " oil change and recall" , a "certified technician " has to do the recall! it's a separate line . the oil changes are the express line , that's why it took so long. I said why didn't they tell me that when I made the first call telling them I was coming. They tell you there are no appointments needed. Then you get here and three hours later they're trying to explain things . I told them, I work at a hospital and had a shift coming up and would need the car ASAP! They said no problem, that was at 7:15 in the morning ! When I leased this 2015 Jeep Renagade in April, I was helped by a man named Fritz. . If you ask me , he's the nicest person at the dealership! He is the most knowledgeable and the most personable. So, from now on I will only deal with Fritz. Security Dodge is lucky to have someone like Fritz, they should have him train the people in the service department on customer relations ! I was given a lot of aggravation before they returned my vehicle to me. The only other thing I was given was a few oil extra changes in the future . Shame on Security Dodge's service department! I say if it's going to take a long time to service a vehicle, they should tell you that on the phone when you call. And they should offer appointments, not just the first come first serve. This was an oil change very simple and a stud wrench replacement, it should not have taken over three hours . By the way ,I left them my cell phone number, they could have contacted me at any point during those three hours and told me that it was going to take longer! I never received any call! So if you're getting in oil change or anything done at security Dodge Bring a lunch! Not good business . Thank you Fritz for all your help! Security's Dodge is lucky to have you! More
The worst dealer service department EVER On July 26th I brought my 2008 Caliber to Security Dodge for replacement of a defective transmission. (I had purchased this transmission from Security Dodge in June, so it was still under warranty.) Three months later and $1600.00 taken out of my pocket for unnecessary repairs due to not One but THREE misdiagnosis, I was returned a car with more problems than when I brought it in. October 13th I was FINALLY contacted and told the new transmission was installed. I picked up the car, and guess what?! The check engine light was on!!!! Now the car, mysteriously, needs a new ecm which will cost me another $ 1500.00!! This light was not on prior to my dropping it off for replacement of the transmission and it was in excellent running condition with the exception of the transmission (Remember, they've had the car since July 26th). This is the WORST service department in any dealership I have ever dealt with. They don't seem to know how to repair anything. They just seem to know how to take money out of the customer's pocket. I would NOT recommend this service dept.to anyone I know EVER!!!!!! It is terrible. More

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT!! More
Why is Chrysler treating me this way? I own a Chrysler 2008 Town & Country, which I regularly service at Security Dodge Chrysler GEM. This vehicle has both a lifetime powertrain warranty I own a Chrysler 2008 Town & Country, which I regularly service at Security Dodge Chrysler GEM. This vehicle has both a lifetime powertrain warranty and a maximum care lifetime wrap (added to the lifetime powertrain). On Saturday, April 30th I had the vehicle serviced for its NYS inspection. It passed the inspection, but the service representative noticed that my lifetime powertrain warranty was expired. I spoke with Bill Davolio (the service Director) to find out how a lifetime powertrain warrantee could expire. He explained that this warranty requires an inspection to be performed every 5 years in order to be maintained. I explained that I had never been told this before, and I would gladly have the inspection done right now. I also explained that at the point of sale I was told that my maximum care lifetime wrap superseded my lifetime powertrain warranty. He instructed me to contact Chrysler at 1-800-992-1997, and have them agree to reinstate the warranty if he performs the inspection. He said that I should insist on speaking to a supervisor. He gave me his card and said to call him back after that point in the process. I did this on 4/30/16 as soon as I left the dealership. At 11:26 AM I spoke with Aleshia, who told me that my warranty could not be reinstated, and I could not speak to a supervisor at that time. She assigned a case number to my call (case #29201612). Chrysler’s policy is to request a supervisor call-back which is fulfilled in 1 business day. Since that was a Saturday, 1 business day would be by Monday, May 2nd. I never received that call back on Monday. Other representatives advised me to call again on Tuesday, May 3rd (at 9:30) and demand to speak with the supervisor assigned to the case. I did this, and was met with a lie. While on the phone with Kristin at 9:35 AM on 5/3/16, I was told that the supervisor had called me back and left a voicemail at 9:32 that morning. After getting off the phone with Kristin, I checked both my cell and home voicemails, and found no message. After calling back to discuss this with the supervisor, a representative named Daniel (at 12:05 PM on 5/3/16) told me that he worked in a different office and would have to transfer me. He transferred me instead to an office in Canada, who had to transfer me back to the US. I finally spoke to a different supervisor named John, who said that they would not agree to reinstating the warranty. He said that I am a regular customer of Security Dodge Chrysler GEM, and that I should speak further with Bill Davolio since that service center that did not remind/suggest this necessary service. I had Bill Davolio’s card, and he had mentioned calling him back after I had started the process, so that was what I did. I left him a voicemail at 1:10 on 5/3/16, and another one later in the day. I called again on 5/4/16, and left another voicemail. I tried calling the regular service counter on 5/5/16, and requesting to speak with him. I was told that he was in a meeting, but they took my name and number to have him call me back. I still have not received a return phone call from Bill Davolio. My 5-year powertrain inspection should have been done on within 60 days of October 30, 2013. I have my service receipt from my 2013 NYS inspection performed at Security Dodge Chrysler GEM. On this receipt there is an area that says, “NEXT RECOMMENDED SERVICE: 30000 MILE SERVICE.” Why didn’t Security Dodge Chrysler GEM list my powertrain inspection in this area of the receipt? Why did I never receive the 1 business day supervisor call back that is Chrysler’s policy? Why has Bill Davolio still not called me back? I am a loyal Chrysler customer. Beside this vehicle, I own a 2005 Jeep Liberty. I regularly service my vehicles at Chrysler service centers, and have the receipts to prove it. Why is Chrysler treating me this way? More
Great sales team! Service department needs work I purchased a 2016 Dodge Charger SCAT Pack a couple of weeks ago. The sales and finance team are phenomenal. They made the process fast and very easy. I didn't notice when I took delivery, but about a week later that the driver's front door needed adjustment as it wasn't flush with the passenger door. I made an appointment and brought the car in for service. I asked the service advisor if I should bring it to their body shop for an adjustment. He told me they could do it in house. He was wrong. The technician who "worked" on my car made a terrible mess of things. I put "worked" in quotes because he obviously didn't know what he was doing. When I got the car back he said that "this was the best he could do". Not only was the door still not adjusted properly, but it was worse than when I brought it in. Then the service advisor wanted me to come back the following week so the body shop could look at it. I demanded to go to the body shop immediately. 10 minutes later, the door was fine. Long story short, don't let these guys do anything except mechanical repairs. I should have known better but I trusted the service advisor and even though this wasn't his fault either, he needs to take responsibility for his technician's work. Bottom line, technicians shouldn't attempt work they have no business doing in the first place. More

Well i have a problem with my truck wich i have tryed to get into service and its 100% impossible. All i want them to do it take a look and listen. I just got put on hold because i asked to speak to a service manager. Infact while i am writting this i am still on hold. (10 min) when i asked to setup a service they said they can not get me in until november 9th and i can not get a loaner car until december. Does that sound right? I dont think so. (still on hold).
