I truly appreciate the approach taken by Mohammed Ahmad in closing the deal. After searching for a particular vehicle over a month I encountered a number of high pressure sales consultants/reps at various in closing the deal. This was the first time I’ve ever looked at a car from Select Auto Imports. A car that I had been interested for months caught my attention on a cars.com listing they had up. Their dealership does have a Select Auto Imports. A car that I had been interested for months caught my attention on a cars.com listing they had up. Their dealership does have a good brand recognition in the D.C. area—so I expected a stellar car buying experience. And that’s exactly what I received! Hassan (sales consultant) , Robert (sales manager), West (delivery driver) and Mike (finance manager) was an absolute pleasure to work with! Each one of them was very professional. The car I purchased, a 2017 Cadillac CTS, was a real beauty! In fact, when you walk onto their lot, their entire inventory is nothing but low mileage, extremely clean, 1-3 year old high end luxury vehicles. Anyhow, back to Hassan and team...Hassan had the car cleaned, pulled up to the front of the dealership and ready for a test drive as I was pulling up. I appreciate the promptness, as I had a busy day of work planned. There was no pressure with anything when dealing with Hassan, Robert or Mike. He obviously wanted to make a sale, but never came off as desperate. He’s a very funny and personable man who wants to make his customers happy and make for an enjoyable car buying experience. When I decided I liked the car and wanted to move forward with it, we worked out a fair price for both parties and I believe everyone was happy at the end of the day. Another thing that impressed me, as I got to know the staff everyone had been employed by Select Auto for 10, 15, even 30 years. High turnover is common in the car business, but clearly not here. And, I can see why majority of their employees have been with the dealership for many years—it’s well run, and they’re all good at their roles. When the time comes to purchase another car, I’ll absolutely reach out to Hassan to either consider something in their inventory or have them look to acquire a clean, well maintained car through wholesale. Keep up the great work. See you in a few months for an oil change :) More
