Since we know the history of rust on Ford vehicles, we asked the sales rep if the auto had signs of rust. He said he could not see any. I asked for photos of the typical problem areas. He sent them and there were no signs of rust. We purchased the car. After the first 2 to 3 washings the rust was revealed (paint washed off). When the situation was brought to the attention of the sales manager (along with before and after pictures) he said since there was no proof of the exchange of words there was little he could do. He offered to split the cost of the repair. Nice, yes, Unfortunately we don't want a car with repaired rust. We would not have purchased the car if I had known that the rust had been covered with paint. We are dissatisfied with the integrity of the used car department at Tom Holzer Ford in Farmington, Hills Mi. More
