Spoke with sales manager and made an appointment for several hours later. By the time I arrived, a couple had were in the process of purchasing the same car that I had wanted. Sales manager then introduced me to Sidney Mashburn who is as friendly and impressive a person as I have ever met. Before allowing me to leave the lot he asked to appraise my Sienna for future purposes and before that process was complete he had identified an identical Highlander on a lot in Tennessee. We immediately closed the deal and I returned with a certified check on Monday. Most enjoyable dealing I have ever experienced. Sydney Mashburn is a young man who will go far in this business. He was intimately familiar with the product and took the time to show me aspects of the Highlander that I had never known before. The next day, I got to meet him and verified his friendliness and personable nature in person. From the beginning I could tell he was different; different in a good way. He wasn't pushy, he listened to what I had to say, and he gave me his focused attention from the moment I called. That's tough to beat! As for the vehicle, I tried working with two other Toyota dealerships in Alabama, but both left me completely unsatisfied. I was looking for a specific vehicle and the first dealership used that to their advantage. The second wanted to sell me something completely different from what I asked for. I looked around on the Internet and saw Serra Toyota had a vehicle very close to my requirements, but I needed more information. So, I called and spoke with Morgan Smith at Serra Toyota. Morgan went out to the vehicle and said it was exactly what I wanted and he held it back for me to see the next day. Since I live two hours from Serra Toyota, he wanted to make sure the vehicle was everything I was looking for before I invested the time to go see it. We spoke on several occasions that afternoon and evening to make sure all questions were answered and when I was ready to commit, I made an appointment for the next day. When I got there, Morgan was waiting for me with a big smile and hearty handshake. We went to the vehicle (hidden away as promised) and took it for a spin. I was sold. The negotiation process was quick and painless, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of. The "check out" process took 5 minutes and I was on my way. Nearly home, I realized I left some important items at the dealership, so I called Morgan for help. Even though he had already left work for the evening, he was able to secure my belongings in mere moments, and securely held them until I could pick them up later that week. He called me every day to let me know he still had my gear and was looking for any vehicle delivery options in my area so he could get my belongings back to me. Coach showed us some cars that were in our budget, and low and behold, there was a beautiful 2014 Black Toyota Yaris. We looked at a couple other cars as well, but the Yaris was perfect. Coach and Matt walked us through the financing process and helped us settle at a great low price and rate that was great for our budget. After signing all the paperwork, Coach even showed us how to set up the Bluetooth and how to work all the doodads in the car. That was super helpful. We are thankful to both of them for making such an intimidating process not so intimidating. We know we got a great deal! Thanks again! More
