They worked on everything and fixed it except for what I originally had the car towed in for. After having the car for nearly three weeks they called me and said the car was ready to go. The charge so far was $3770.00 in which I believe to be highly ridicules and very expensive for the work they done. Upon arrival an hour and half later, I spotted the car on the lot, so, I used my extra key fob and started the car to see if it was fixed, and same problem still existed. I told the service writer what I had discover and asked if they test drove the car upon completion of work performed. Hie response was, "he is supposed to." I was very dissatisfied and disappointed. He took the car back into the shop and two hours later he informed me that the car needed another part fixed and it would cost almost $700.00 plus I would have to leave the car at the shop again until the part came in, another wasted trip. My concern now is why all the other worked performed that I didn't ask to do except for three things, Gear shift was loose, third brake light out, and recall on the driver's side airbag. The car is a 2018 Turbo Beetle Convertible which is my wife's pride and joy. Needless to say, she was very livid and beyond being upset with Serra Volkswagen. She called the service manager and inquired why it needed so much work and was told it's because it's the age of the car and he was a Nissan man anyway. So, what he was saying is that a Volkswagen is not any good after six years old. I must say that we have never had any problems with the Beetle and the reason I had it towed ($300.00) is because the EPC dash light came on and according to the owner's manual to shut off engine and take it to the nearest authorized Volkswagen mechanic, which in this case was 63 miles away. I can't wait to see what awaits me when I go to pick up the car. More

I wish a wait time would have been mentioned to me upon arrival. I was told the earlier I schedule for the quicker I’ll get out, but I have scheduled two services since then one being at 7am and the other arrival. The first visit was an inspection and oil change because my driver door says it’s open when it’s not and the back right sensor tells me something is there when reversing and nothing ever is. I was told the door was a seatbelt jam problem and the sensor was just dirty.. but no matter how much I clean it it still yells that something is behind me. The second visit was a reschedule for the oil change only since I ended up not needing one yet the first time around. I appreciate the first oil change being free but I would almost rather spend the $45 at Express Oil Change for a 15 minute service. I would not have any problem if this service to an hour to an hour and a half since you are not an express oil change operation, but 3 hours for an appointment that I scheduled a week or more prior without warning of delay is just awful. Despite my car being in their service department for 35 days for a 2-day repair. From March 1, 2025, then not worked on until April 2, 2025, and finished on April 4, 2025. My vehicle is now in another dealership for repair and Sch B service. More
