Serra Volkswagen responded

Mr. Westbrook came in on March 19th for an oil change, bluetooth concern, a brake noise, and tire rotation. After the work was completed and the customer had left with his car, he called back a few hours later stating that the tire rotation had not been done. He informed me that he could tell that the tires had not been rotated due to a tire that he had replaced, or something along those lines, still being in the same place on the car that it was in before we "rotated" the tires. We had initially agreed upon rotating the tires when he came in for the appointment that we had set for that following Tuesday to remedy the bluetooth concern. Mr. Westbrook then asked for his money back. I went to my cashier and had her void the card transaction for that day, which should have stopped the money from coming out of his account. He never did come in for the next appointment for us to take care of the bluetooth issue, or rotate the tires.

Why would I come back to a place where you accept my vehicle to "inspect it" and you didnt inspect it at all? you blantantly lied to my face telling me you had dome the tire rotation, whicj you did not because I was was smart enough to mark my tired and noticed you all didnt rotate them at all, yet you charged me for the rotation. So this means you accepted my vehicle to "inspect", didnt do the inspection at all, had me waiting in the waiting room for absolutely no reason, then when I asked about how my brakes looked, you all said "oh....yeah those look fine" knowing all the while you all didnt look at anything concerning my car whatsoever. So essentially I drove my car to your dealership to park it there for a couple hours and drink free coffee and then leave and be charged for a service that didn't even get done..... so no... of course II would never come back to your location. You all blatantly lied to my face and obviously cannot be trusted.

We will investigate the failure in our system to find where the breakdown of communication was in regard to the tire rotation. We did void the customers ticket that day, so he was refunded for the rotation and did receive the oil change at no charge for his time. The squealing noise of his brakes could not be duplicated. Brakes otherwise looked and performed as normal. Bluetooth issue was diagnosed and it was determined that the dash would have to be removed for repairs. This was scheduled for another time. We greatly appreciate our customers. We also sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the customer bringing his experience to our attention so that we may continue to improve our processes.

A brake inspection would require one to take off the actual tires and inspect the brakes...no tires were actually removed whatsoever to even determine a brake issue...otherwise, the tires wouldve been rotated as well. And no, my dash was not taken apart because the gentleman helping me specifically said "We are going to have to remove the dash and look into it further to see whats avtually determining the issue. Therefore, can you bring back your vehicle another day so we can get under the dash and see because it's going to take some time". I have a great memory. I wasn't charged, so I'm obviously happy with thay outcome. But you all asked for my feedback, and so I gave it. Don't blatantly lie to people and waste thier time for no reason. Be honest and upfront about what it is youre going to do for the customer so it instills trust in the company & the brand. Again, thank you all for your time & I will be choosing other locations in the forseeable future. Have the best day!
