Dropped off a car with electrical problems in January. Had found rodent nest and feces. The mechanics shop told me they didn’t think it was caused by rodents despite this. I received an approved insurance claim for rodent damage anyways because of the evidence of existing rodent damage, but the shop manager refused to work on my vehicle for months because the insurance wasn’t paying his rates and even rudely told me that if the insurance didn’t cover the damage he didn’t think I could pay. We made an agreement that if I paid what was owed he would continue to diagnose the problem and when I did he then asked for a further down payment despite not knowing what the issue was after months of the car being in the shop. I had to message the better business bureau just to get him to begin work on the vehicle again and by this point the electrical issue had somehow gone away and could not be replicated. I got charged over $1000 for my vehicle to sit in a parking lot for months and no diagnosis, and then was returned the vehicle with even more rodents nest and feces. Would not trust this shop, rates are high for low levels of trust and workmanship. More
