I bought a car from this dealership last year. My vehicle, a year later, died. It's under warranty according to sales. I was told I had a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty at that. First I would like to take a few minutes to rebut the review from February 24, 2022. You see, I am the "male with a checkbook" that she is speaking of. When I arrived that day, the salesman had informed me that there were 3 other parties interested in this vehicle. We took the vehicle for a test drive and brought it back to the shop and looked it over. I proceeded to walk into the dealership to use the restroom, only to come out and be told "I'm sorry sir, we just sold that car", much to my disappointment, I hung my head low and proceeded to walk back to my car. As I was walking to my car I saw said purchaser looking over the car I had riven an hour to see, how lucky she must feel right now! I asked her "Are you the lady buying this car?" She proceeded to say "I'm thinking about it, if it passes my OCD test then i will highly consider it." Not once did she say the word YES!!!!! I went back into the dealership and told the salesman exactly what she said. They checked in on her THREE times while i waited for her to make up her mind! After the third time, when they caught her climbing all over the brand new leather seats while poking her head through the sunroof, she still couldn't say no! They came in and asked me if i wanted to buy it and i said yes! I RANG THE BELL! I went to the men's room only to come out and find that this woman had just caused a HUGE scene! Not only did she cause a scene, she made threats to each and every salesman in the show room. Now, her being a police officer in this day and age, for her to threaten others only due to the fact that she wears a badge is sad! Who tells people to stay out of her town or they will get speeding tickets and that she is going to report them, ALL BECAUSE SHE couldn't say YES!!!!!!!!! It saddens me that after all that has gone on there are still men and woman who wear the badge who make a disgrace out of it because they think they are better than everyone else! I'm sorry that you didn't get the car ma'am, but you being a policeman should know better than anyone, in a situation of do or die, you can't hesitate for too long, sometimes you have to PULL THE TRIGGER! If you're going to write a scathing review, please tell the whole story! Not just the story from your point of view so that people look bad and you look like you did nothing wrong. Now, onto the real reason I'm here, my review! I can't say anything negative about the men that helped me when I walked in, Darius, Humza, Tony and Jay! All of these gentleman were very friendly, eager to help and more than willing to explain everything about the car. I didn't buy the car that day, much to my dismay, but, I did however buy it two days later. After some intense like negotiations, the deal was done! I headed out to the dealership to go get my car! I walked in and everyone greeted me with a smile and a handshake and said "We are glad you have you back!" All of the paperwork was done before i arrived so all I had to do was sign on the dotted line and off I went! Tony the Department manager was like talking with an old friend, he was glad to see me and very friendly! I also worked with Humza the day I bought the car, WHAT A GUY! He went above and beyond for me the entire time! We traded old stories from when we were growing up, like a friend would that you haven't seen in a while. After I made the purchase, Humza took me to my car and went over EVERY detail of that car with me in length for about 45 mins! He also stayed well after the dealership closed just to make sure I understood everything he explained and if I had any questions. Not a bad word can be said about these guys! If you take anything away from what I wrote, it should be this: If you are kind to people and treat them with respect, they will do the same for you. More

This dealership is as unprofessional as they come. I was in the process of buying a vehicle when Mgr Tony Hasan tells me “sorry” we decided to sell the car to someone else. This review is lengthy but everyone should see how unprofessional and discriminatory this dealership is….I received a call from Danae stating the vehicle I was interested in finally arrived. I drive over an hour to see said vehicle; I’m told to ask for Mgr Reggie Steel. Reggie links me up with Salesperson, Monique Smith. I show Monique the stock number and online ad for the Jeep GC I was there to see. Reggie has Monique running all over the place for almost an hour and then “realizes” that particular vehicle was already “sold”. So now for about another 30-45min, Monique is having to run all over the place to see if any other Jeep GCs in stock have the options I want. When they realize they don’t have any other vehicles I want (not sure why Reggie couldn’t tell this from his computer), the original Jeep GC magically appears to not have been sold. Reggie tries to link me up with another salesman who is older with an foreign accent. This salesman says he has the vehicle and literally tries to poach me from Monique! Now, Monique has been doing a fantastic job of helping me, so why would I ditch her to let this random salesman have her well earned commission?? I tell Monique this guy is trying to get me to go with him and that he has the Jeep. Monique finds out that this salesman was literally hiding the Jeep because he has another customer interested in it who was supposed to be 30min out- over an hour ago. Monique gets management- who doesn’t seem to care- to get her the spare key and they finally locate the vehicle I came to see. I see the vehicle and decide to discuss numbers. I’ve already been here for 2hrs and now I’m waiting on a really slow appraisal- mind you the dealership is not busy at all. During the appraisal, the Jeep I’m trying to buy suddenly disappears. Turns out that salesman with the accent kept a key and let his very late customer test drive it. By the time the vehicle reappears over 30min later, Mgr Tony Hasan is getting irritated I won’t agree to go to finance without re-inspecting the car that disappeared for 30min. Monique and I go to inspect the car and when we are about to come back inside, Tony Hasan tells me they decided to sell the car to the customer that just test drove it. Now if this dealership hadn’t played games from the get-go, I would’ve already purchased this vehicle and been on my way. I go back to the desk and ask for another manager and Mgr Jason Ryan waves at me from behind the desk. Jason tells me that it was completely a fair business practice to hide a vehicle for almost 2hrs and to drag out my buying process so that some random male customer with a checkbook can do whatever he wants. I said Monique was working with me and we were ready to sit down with finance, but now she loses my sale. Jason shrugged. Tony and Reggie sat silent. If Monique and I were males, this sale would have happened with zero issues and I’m sure the negotiations would’ve taken less time too. If you’re a female shopping for a car, stay away from this dealership. If you must go here, make an appointment with Monique Smith. I really hope this dealership doesn’t make it a habit of poaching all of Monique’s well deserved sales after she’s done all of the heavy lifting. I will never return to Sherman Dodge. More
