Rip-off artist. I recently bought an Explorer Platinum. After researching I found the price with rebates on the dealer site. I advise everyone to stay away from this dealership. They have no compassion or heart. And I hear service is not any better. More

Bought a demo Ford Fusion from these guys. Price seemed fair, although it took an act of congress and a couple of threats to leave to get the payment where we wanted it. The Ford Pass App would not work because the car was a demo, they tried for a long time, then said they would call us in a few days when they got it sorted out. Shocker, they never called, so we took it back and after about an hour they got it working after a master reset. Then, since they had put wheel locks on the wheels, I asked where the key was, and was told it was in the glove box. Um, no it's not. Long story short, they couldn't find a key so they ended up putting on a new set and giving me the key for those. Then, when they brought it out, it was missing a lug nut!?! When I pointed it out, they seemed confused. Finally, they brought it out and put it on, and we got the heck out of there. The next week, we went to Pugmire Ford in Cartersville and bought my wife a new Escape, it was a much more pleasant and professional experience! More
I was traveling from Ohio to Georgia to spend time with family, and my truck decided to start acting up right in front of the Shottenkirk Ford dealership. I pulled into the lot, and went to the service de family, and my truck decided to start acting up right in front of the Shottenkirk Ford dealership. I pulled into the lot, and went to the service desk. They took my truck in immediately to diagnose the problem. Kara Adams said that the repair would be covered under a recall, but they couldn’t get to it until the morning.. she then offered a loaner car so that I could get my family to our destination.( 180 miles away) the repair was completed the next day, I drove back, returned the loaner, and was quickly on my way in my repaired truck. I mainly worked with Kara, but the whole team was a class act, thank you to all of you I really appreciate the awesome service. More
Incredibly rude on the phone Was recently shopping for a used Jeep. Receptionist would not transfer me to a dealer unless I gave her my full name. I did not want to do that yet and she just put me on hold without saying anything. 10 minutes later, I hung up. Called back later in the day to the almost exact conversation. The dealer answered with the most annoyed response. I explained I lived a distance away and wanted to know if they would tell me their bottom price, I was a cash buyer and planned to come see the unit if the price was acceptable. He sounded annoyed and very uninterested in my request. They didn't even give me the courtesy of a text message back with any response or a call. I bought a better vehicle at a lower price from a competitor who actually acted interested in my business. Terrible customer service. More
Finance Department Scams you I had a great experience with salesperson Keven, however I am finding out in hindsight that the finance department took advantage of me. I asked to use my local LGE credit union as lender, and was told their best rate was 5.2% but their partnered credit union could do 4.8%. I suggested calling LGE to check this rate but was told they were closed and was pressured to move forward with their suggested lender if i wanted the truck that day. I thought this was strange given my excellent credit but continued on against my brain telling me dont. I called LGE the next week and was informed i qualify for a 3.2% rate for similar loan terms....i was lied to by the finance manager and am extremely disappointing in the finance department here. More

Max Williams made the financial paperwork fun and easy. The new(ish) manager Steve was helpful and friendly, and helped Billy make me an awesome deal on the car I purchased. 10/10 would recommend Billy Mobley and Ford Shottenkirk in Jasper to all my friends and family! RIPOFF ARTISTS!!! SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NOT TO BE BELIEVED! Service department performed a $99 diagnostic on my transmission and said it needed to be replaced - $4,600. I took the F150 to a local mechanic who checked the fluid and said it needed a service. Filter was very dirty! Truck runs new now! Went back to Shottenkirk to bring this to the attention of Greg, the Service Manager. He listed to me and when I said it was a shame that his guys go to school for this and it was despicable that this happened, he told me to leave! In fact, as he stormed out of the service department into the shop, he looked back and said he didn't care if I didn't come back! Two Shottenkirk employees witnessed it. These guys are crooks. I was looking to trade my truck because I believed them at first. Nothing like telling me my truck's value is $4,600 less than I thought only to do business with them and then they resell my truck with a simple transmission service! WORST EXPERIENCE IN A VERY, VERY LONG TIME!! THIS PROBLEM STARTS AT THE TOP OF THE DEALERSHIP - AVOID THIS PLACE. MANY OTHER FORD DEALERS IN THE AREA. More
