Wonderful, experience at Shottenkirk. Michael, our Sales rep was so personable, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Would recommend him! Our only negative was the push to buy the service package. There rep was so personable, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Would recommend him! Our only negative was the push to buy the service package. There should be a better way to present an extended warranty with taking over an hour to present it and then negotiate a price. Maybe a brochure that explains the product easily and gives you time to ponder the value and then follow up with a phone call. But, the hard sell always makes me say “no”. Even if it would be a great thing to buy! I’d be happy to be part of a focus group to brainstorm a better way to sell it. All in all, we love the car and had a good experience. More

Excellent as usual Great service, great staff, very clean environment. Always a pleasant experience even then they recommend something I had not anticipated. Angie is a super Woman. She solves all issues i bring up in a professional manner. As for the sales department, they make me regret buying my car. Kevin Dowdy, very rude guy, i hope in future i never have in a professional manner. As for the sales department, they make me regret buying my car. The sales experience was good. After that everything went down hill. -The transmission went out the day after driving the used 2017 Acadia with less than 30,000 miles off the lot. This repair was covered down hill. -The transmission went out the day after driving the used 2017 Acadia with less than 30,000 miles off the lot. This repair was covered under power train and I was sent to a GM dealer for the repair. -I noticed an issue with the AC on a hot day the first week. They sent me to a GM dealer for a diagnostic and told me to bring it back for repair. $60 out of pocket for work they should have done no questions asked(also warranty work). -I also noticed an issue with the rear seat latch not engaging. I was told they would make this right too by Eric in service. But I had to get a quote for a part number for them to order to repair it. Again sent to another dealership for another diagnostic fee of $60 out of pocket -I spoke with Ben the used car sales manager and explained my issues with him and the fact that the warranty company didn’t have my info for the claim to be started. He was supposed to call me back after he reached out to the warranty company. Surprise, he never did. -An agreement was put in a “we owe” for the dealership to provide a second key for the used car. They sent me to the GM dealership for the programming too. Then when I get there say it’s not in the agreement. After speaking with 4-5 people they decided they would, “take care of it anyways.” And issued a PO. I’m over a month after the sale and still trying to get repairs completed that are covered under the warranty that they sold me. People at the dealership do not communicate with their leadership about customer issues. Don’t expect any kind of follow-up after a sale. All that seems to matter is the sale of the car and then you’re on your own. Once these issues are sorted out, I will not buy a car from Shottenkirk again or get service there. If they want to send me to other dealerships for work constantly, then that dealership can have my business. Your employees are driving away business. More

Nice group of people. Very easy to work with. Dana in particular.
