I came in today to get an oil changed at 7:30 this morning I got my car back at 5:30 tonight. They had stripped out my oil plug and had to order it from Volkswagen. The first time I called the driver forgot to pick up the part. I told the kid that was a lame excuse. When I came in to get my car he told me that the Volkswagen dealership delivered the part to the wrong Toyota I told him that was a really bad excuse. Because I knew the Volkswagen service manager and that I would be calling him. 10 hours I waited to get my wife’s car back then they had the nerve to charge $9.95 for the part that they stripped. Then I told the kid that I called that he didn’t even have the courtesy of calling me and let me know it was going on so I had to call them and get the information. Really frustrated. More

My wife called and inquired on a 2022 Sienna Platinum. The dealer listed car at $54k. The sales rep on the phone verified the car being in stock and the price. We went in, she handed us paperwork showing the price and all the features of the Sienna. We test drove it and loved it. Asked to start figuring out numbers. They ran my wife's credit and then proceeded to tell us the real price of the Sienna. $62k! They had an $8k markup, due to vehicle shortages. We asked why we weren't told about the $8k markup, upfront. They gave us a bunch of excuses. The sales manager came over and tried to talk us into the car explaining the shortage issue. I get it, there are less cars than usual. So be honest! Tell people the price up front. Not after they call, drive over, speak to a sales rep, test drive the car and after you run our credit. Wasted our time and put a hard inquiry on my wife's credit for no good reason. Never again... Will never recommend Simi Toyota. I even overheard another sales rep pulling the old 4 square scam on another family next to us. They are shady as can be at this dealer. Buyer beware! More

I filled out the request for vehicle availability from Cars.com. Simi Valley dealership responded within minutes and said the car was indeed available, same VIN same stock number. To my surprise the dealership quoted me $4,000.00 more than what is listed on cars.com. When I asked why the difference in price they said they didn’t know how cars.com gets access to their listings. I was speechless it wasn’t a problem before when they got my information from cars.com, then they tell me to check for current pricing on their own dealerships website. I can’t believe I can’t find a legitimate business and Simi Valley Toyota just blamed cars.com for having the wrong price. Hopefully more people see this before being ripped off by Simi Valley Toyota. I don’t get the blame game between cars.com and Simi Toyota. I told Chey she needed to make sure her dealership clears up the mishap of pricing on the cars.com website. She said they would immediately work on it. It's been a couple of days and they still have the click bait add on cars.com. I guess that is the way they do fraudulently get you to call them. One of them is wrong and just out to rip-off people make sure they don’t rip you off. More
