He did a superb job in helping us narrow down our search to a decision on the best choice for our needs. Korey was very patient with us as we moved out of our trade in into the new Ford. This required several trips, but Korey accommodated us with out complaint. In short, Korey's product knowledge and communication skills gave us the confidence in him and Skyline Ford we needed to close the deal. More
Purchased 2020 F-150 Platinum FX4 I did my own Ford F-150 Platinum Super Crew build on Ford's website then asked the system to find my build. Ford came up with dealers within 100 mil I did my own Ford F-150 Platinum Super Crew build on Ford's website then asked the system to find my build. Ford came up with dealers within 100 miles of where I wanted to reach out. Vehicles at dealerships did not exactly match my build so I contacted Skyline Ford and Jeremy Gattenby took my call. I sent Jeremy my build via email and indicated he could try and find it for me, which he did. We then stopped by the dealership and went over my build spec again and validated the vehicle he found matched what I wanted. The only difference was the fact I did not specify an FX4 build. The vehicle that matched the interior color I wanted was at another dealership around 100 miles from Salem, OR (Skyline's location). We discussed the bringing the vehicle from another dealership in and went over what Skyline and Ford offered for discounts as well as evaluating my trade along with what Skyline could offer couple with Ford's rebates. I knew what I wanted for my trade in and Skyline came within $100 of that value. Jeremy never pressured us at any time during my phone call and personal visit to Skyline's dealership. Fact is Jeremy explained the vehicle he found for me was an FX4 and I hesitated due to the fact I felt the FX4 would ride rougher than a stock Platinum 4X4. Jeremy had us drive a Platinum they had in inventory to demonstrate the ride. The issue with the unit they had in stock was equipped with the wrong interior color. Skyline brought in the vehicle I wanted without requiring any deposit All they required was; sign "their offer" and the window sticker print out acknowledging we had a deal for the specific vehicle they'd bring in.. Once the vehicle came in we returned to the dealership it was clean and Jeremy pointed me towards the finance manager who was low pressure including not trying to sell me a bunch of dealer profit adders like paint, glass, or wheel protection. Tom the finance guy did take a run at me for an extended warranty for coverage past Ford's standard 3-year/36K mile warranty. His point was well taken regarding the amount of electronics on the 2020 Ford F-150 Platinum FX4 and the fact once past Ford's standard warranty those electronics would not be covered. I declined indicating I could purchase a warranty prior to Ford's warranty expiring. Again, Tom put no pressure on me and we were in and out of his office in 10 minutes. Jeremy was knowledgeable on the product, spent time for a test ride to look at paint color at their Keizer, Salem location. The paint color I wanted was no longer available on the 2020 F-150 so Jeremy spent the extra time to show me the difference between what I wanted and what was available. We spent 4-5 hours overall in two different visits. It took time to value our trade, check our credit, waiting on a call back from the dealer who stocked the truck I wanted and if they'd do a dealer transfer, figure out costs for added accessories I wanted to put on the truck, and for Jeremy to go back and forth a couple times to "The Bull Pen" in negotiations for our deal, and a separate trip for us to take delivery. I felt we got a decent deal on our new truck and the overall pre-purchase and purchase experience was great. I know salesman earn commissions and Jeremy really worked to earn his commission on our deal in working out all the details of our purchase, even though he was a bit under the weather health wise. I love Fords. My whole family drives Fords. Jeff White was my salesman and I wouldn’t have changed that for anything. Him and I worked great together. And I’m excited for me 2020 Fusion. Great experience, No issues I needed a transmission issue fixed on my 2016 Edge. I was greeted by Service intake staff, John Myhrr and he took notes as I described the problem a I needed a transmission issue fixed on my 2016 Edge. I was greeted by Service intake staff, John Myhrr and he took notes as I described the problem and then arranged for a shuttle ride home. I got a call couple hours later and the mechanic confirmed my issue. After repair was completed, I was called SUV was ready and friendly shuttle driver ( Dennis ) picked me up as per time requested. The Edge repair was covered by the 50,000 mile power train warranty. More
