A present for my wife I was out searching to replace my wife's 19 year old car that I no longer had faith in. After transporting us for 283,000 miles I felt that it was time to for a upgrade. Also our 34th wedding anniversary was a week away and I thought this is the time. After cruising the various lots around Salem I got cutoff in traffic and ended up pulling through Skylines Mission Street lot. Since I was in the lot I drove around looking at what they had. After circling the lot a salesman named Phil McColly waved at me to come over and asked me if he could assist me. After telling him what I was looking for he asked me if I had seen the 2014 Escape on the outer row. I had missed seeing it and when I saw it I knew this might be the end of my search. My first question was," Do you take trade ins?" He assured me that they did. after a short negotiation we settled on a price. He needed to get the final okay from Marc the sales manager on my trade in which he approved. My wife loves the Escape. She loves the color. Carrot Gold. I love the safety features and how nice it drives. She likes the all adjustable power drivers seat since see is a small woman and has a hard time in some vehicles being able to see out the windshield. See just presses on the up button and see feels in complete control. I like the all wheel drive since we get a lot of snow and ice in the winter and the ABS.
