Ford automobiles are amongst the finest vehicles on the roads today, and we are happy to share that experience with our valued customers. Donofrio Dealerships have been serving Salem and the Willamette Valley since 1962. Don Donofrio, started Don's Skyline Ford in 1962. Jim grew up around Skyline Ford since the beginning.
Jim Donofrio now runs Skyline Ford and the other Donofrio Dealerships, along with his son Brian (BJ) Donofrio (left). Jim and BJ have a great passion for automobiles and both have a great collection of Vintage Classic Cars, and Exotic Cars. Jim's daughter, Ali Donofrio, is heavily involved as the Office Manager of Skyline Ford, which is the backbone to keeping the dealership in order. This is a 3rd Generation Family run business, which is amazing within itself. There are many family members that are involved at different levels. There are many employees that have been with the Donofrio's for many years. A family dealership that has been in business this long depends on long-term relationships with customers, employees and friends.
Donofrio Dealerships include: Donofrio's Skyline Ford, Donofrio's Skyline Keizer Ford, Mercedes-Benz of Salem and Acura of Salem. Mercedes-Benz of Salem (formerly Valley Motor Company) is one of the oldest dealerships in the Willamette Valley which dates back the early 1920's and is still running strong thanks to the Donofrio Family. Interesting to note, Diane Donofrio's (Jim's wife) Grandfather originally started Valley Motor Company Ford in the 20's. Valley Motor Company was purchased by the Donofrio's in the late 1980's.

I began this process with a '93 Bronco broken down in Salem. Had the Bronco towed to Skyline on a Wednesday evening after it broke down 84 miles from home. Jason in Service was squared away and got me realistic info as fast as he could, with a couple of repair options. When the repair costs of total AC compressor failure didn't pencil, I started looking at Skyline's inventory on-line. Lots of great new and used rigs to choose from. Found two used pickups that looked promising (a Ford and a Chevy) and cold called the dealership after 5PM Friday night asking to speak to a sales rep. Very lucky for me, the call was routed to Jeremy Gattenby. We discussed what my Bronco might be worth and he set about doing a valuation against the two rigs I was interested in. Jeremy promptly got me pricing info after trade-in, at a fair deal. All by phone and internet that evening and into Saturday. I decided to come over Sunday and look at the two rigs side by side. Jeremy arranged to have one brought over from the Keizer store for my convenience. He took me through the features on both and we did test drives. I liked the Ford best and bought it on the spot. Jeremy was very helpful w/ all the paperwork, efficiently shepherding me through it. Financing with Juan was smooth, Jeremy had done a good set up for me. Pretty painless. Jeremy helped me transfer all the personal belongings from the Bronco to my new (to me) F150. He's followed up since via e-mail and phone to be sure I'm happy. The reason I was so impressed with Jeremy is that he took the time to nurture a sale on a weekend with a total stranger he'd only talked to over the phone. I'm sure lots of those calls go nowhere, but he was as polite and enthusiastic as if we'd had an existing sales relationship. In person, he was just what I expected; clean-cut, polite, and prepared to knowledgeably deal on these rigs. More

Every car transaction should be this good I was shopping for a used Ford F-150 and visited (online) nearly every dealer within a 50 mile radius. Skyline had the best condition and most competi I was shopping for a used Ford F-150 and visited (online) nearly every dealer within a 50 mile radius. Skyline had the best condition and most competitive prices I could find so I decided to contact them online. I originally was greeted by Andrew online who handled my inquiry and we set up a time to meet. Upon my arrival, Andrew introduced me to Korey Miller who assisted me with my purchase from there. Korey did a great job of showing me the trucks that I had inquired about. He had both trucks ready for viewing, and or test driving and was prepared to answer any questions I had. I wasn't ready to purchase on my first visit so I stayed in touch with Korey over the next few days. In this time I was not harassed nor bothered by Skyline. I was allowed time to shop and even called in to ask a few more questions about the trucks. When I was finally ready, Korey met my Wife and I and we worked out the numbers on my trade in. When this was completed, my wife started a timer to see how long it would take to finish the paperwork side of things. The timer ended at 30 minutes. I have never gone through a process so smooth (when buying a car) in my life. I left with a used 2010 Ford F-150 Lariat and couldn't be happier with my experience. I would recommend that anyone consider working with Korey and Skyline Ford as my experience was great and I when I'm in the market again someday, I will certainly hope to work with them in the future.
