I had an electrical problem and came to the dealership unannounced and was greeted by Katrina who did all she could to help fix the problem...replacing fuses and getting advice from mechanics as to what may help. As it turned out the problem was a little more involved so more work was required. The car has some rust issues so cannot be out in any moisture and Katrina made sure Olive (the cars name) was inside whenever it rained. Something I consider to be above and beyond. When the car was done being serviced the courtesy driver John came to get me at my home and was able to take a few extra minutes to drop of a vehicle s I could garage Olive at my house. He was friendly and courteous and again went the extra mile to make my experience great! Also I am very satisfied with the repairs and would like to thank the technician as well, although I do not know his name. More

I appreciated t Update: Received a call from Vernithea. She had done some research and determined that Ford didn't have a vehicle that met my needs. I appreciated the time she took to call me and address my concerns and give me an honest assessment. I stopped by Skyline Ford today to see if Ford had a car similar to the Chevy Volt. I had two requirements: Must be a plug-in EV that qualifies for the full $7500 tax credit (which means it has to have at least a 16 kWh battery), and must also have a gas-powered range extender. I had no idea if Ford made a car that met these requirements, but surely a dealership would be able to tell me, right? Nope. It felt like the sales associate I worked with just heard "plug-in electric" and ignored everything else I had said. It really felt like she thought all EVs were the same. The first car she showed me was the Ford Focus Electric. It had a large battery (23 kWh) that qualified for the full tax credit, but no gas range extender. I had mentioned this as a requirement several times. Did she just ignore that part? When I mentioned that as a requirement yet again, she then showed me the Ford Fusion Energi. It was a plug-in electric with a gas range extender, but the battery was too small to qualify for the full tax credit (only 7 kWh). When I mentioned this, her response was, "We're not accountants, we don't know which credits a car qualifies for." Why didn't she say this from the very beginning when I mentioned the tax credit as a requirement?! If I give you a list of my requirements, and you're not 100% sure if any of your cars meet those requirements, just say so. It really felt like she just wasn't listening to me at all. Throughout the entire interaction she kept trying to push lease options on me, even after I clearly stated several times that I wasn't interested in leasing. She asked me what I did for work twice in the span of five minutes. She asked me several times why I wanted a new car, and didn't seem to accept "Because I like new cars" as an answer. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but this was the most frustrating dealership experiences I've ever had. More

Dave Fountain at Skyline Ford, happened to be free in Sales and marched us over to the perfect car that met our needs and provided a few extra surprises that we appreciated. The next day JP in service arranged for every part we added to the car. As a final WOW, Jennifer helped restore 2 broken key fobs for me, continuing the excellent service I was so fortunate to stumble into just because the shop is close to my home. Thank you, Skyline! Five Stars! More
