I brought my Honda Accord in to Sloane Honda for an inspection and regular maintenance, and had a BAD experience I made an appointment on the website at the first opening, which was pretty late in t inspection and regular maintenance, and had a BAD experience I made an appointment on the website at the first opening, which was pretty late in the afternoon. Then I got a call CONFIRMING my appointment When I got there, the manager Steve Patterson was pretty arrogant -- he was basically complaining he didn't have enough time to try to run up the bill, because the store was closing in an hour or 2. I told them MULTIPLE times about a leak in my windshield fluid -- on the website, and in person But Steve had EXCUSES every time I brought that up. He basically refused to fix it, which is one of the 2 things I came in for. He claimed they couldn't find the leak. However after the service, when the place was closing, I simply turned on my windshield wipers in the parking lot, and the leak started immediately, and I SHOWED IT TO HIM. So he was avoiding the issue on purpose Instead they offered to change my car battery -- obviously because they have a higher margin on that repair than fixing And then they send me an e-mail about a whole bunch of other things that I should come in, without mentioning the original problem. Terrible service. I will ESCALATE this to Honda and see what they can do about it. --- Also, their printer was out of ink, so the itemized receipt they gave me was unreadable. Steve Patterson wouldn't go through the items with me -- he just said we couldn't read it. Afterwards, I checked the website, and it also wouldn't give me a receipt. Had my Honda Civic in on 6/5 at 10:00 AM for a new condenser and compressor shaft seal (diagnosed the week before) - both covered under the extended warranty. My service rep was Dan McCarthy.
