I recently purchased a used Toyota Prius from their used car department. Rich Anderson sold me my car and was very efficent, friendly, and helpful. However, once I was transfered to their Finance Department, my whole experience changed. I initally had trouble with this dealership, specifically only with their finance deptartment. After contacting the general manager about my issues, he took the time to help me solve my problem and offered solutions to help. Luckily, because of his friendliness and helpfulness, my experience with Sloane Toyota became a bit better then when I first purchased my car. Greg, the general manager was quick to make sure that I was happy and offered helpful and generous solutions. More
When we arrived at the dealership, we were initially underwhelmed. The receptionist did not greet us, and we were left to wander aimlessly for a good 15 minutes until a sales person saw us. Even then, when promised he would get us someone to assist us, we stood for another 10 minutes. Finally, they sent Jim to the front to help us, and the experience got much, much better. Jim was respectful of our budgetary limitations, and defied every stereotype of the "slick salesman"- he was empathetic and kind, and in tune with our situation. By the end of the night, he had helped work out a deal with us that allowed us to drive home the vehicle we want and need, while staying within our limits. More
We started looking at a new car months before we actually purchased our Rav4. We spoke with Owen upon our initial visit and told him the same thing. He was very willing to spend as much time with us so that purchased our Rav4. We spoke with Owen upon our initial visit and told him the same thing. He was very willing to spend as much time with us so that we had a good idea of what Toyota could offer in terms of the differences in each Rav and the "deals" that they were offering that month. At the end of the first meeting, Owen asked if he could keep in touch with us and what was the best way to do that without overwhelming us. Very considerate! The only downside of the meeting was the end when the Sales Manager came out and kept pushing us to buy that day... we almost had to be as rude as him to get him to back off! When we finally finished our search and decided to purchase the Rav we called Owen... he was wonderful! He was informative, helpful, and very polite and non-salesman like. He walked us through the entire process of purchasing as well as a in depth review of all that the Rav had to offer. Again, a down side was when we sat to sign the paperwork (not with Owen) and this manager was rude and pushy about getting us to buy packages that we were not interested in. This was a very pleasant and fast transaction. My salesperson was Sam Huhn. He was very understanding about our situation and the type vehicle we were looking for. Our daughter is handicapped so we salesperson was Sam Huhn. He was very understanding about our situation and the type vehicle we were looking for. Our daughter is handicapped so we were looking for a large vehicle to accommodate her wheel chair and to have a special Bruno seat installed Sam even went the extra step for us. He went to Sloan's other location and brought the vehicle back for us to look at rather then us traveling out of our way. He was willing to come in on his day off to close the deal. There was no pressure felt by us due to how Sam handled our purchase. Sam answered all our questions and if he did not know an answer he obtained it for us. He was available at our request. I have purchased vehicles before and so far Sloane's is the one we went back to a second vehicle from. Everything was up front and they were comfortable to deal with. I think every dealership should have one trained salesperson with knowledge of adaptive equipment for the disabled. Lou Ricci More
I brought my son here to buy his first car, Rob took the time to explain the differences between the cars he chose to test drive, from gas mileage to warranties, etc,My son is 19 and Rob spoke to him, treat time to explain the differences between the cars he chose to test drive, from gas mileage to warranties, etc,My son is 19 and Rob spoke to him, treated him as an adult , whereas other dealers spoke to me, I was not the one buying the car We spent a few hours going over everything, never felt pressured to buy. Rob showed and explained gadgets in the car after the purchase and told us to call him personally if there were any problems. More
