I went into Smail Honda Village to value my 2008 Honda CR-V, which recently acquired some cosmetic damage. Seeing that my warranty had recently expired and that I was approaching 100K on my vehicle, I de CR-V, which recently acquired some cosmetic damage. Seeing that my warranty had recently expired and that I was approaching 100K on my vehicle, I decided that it might be time to test out something new if the trade value was fair. The evening prior to my visit, I had contacted the dealership and spoke to Chris Varade. In the morning upon my arrival, I met Chris and test drove two vehicles that caught my interest: a 2014 Honda CR-V and a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Chris' knowledge of the ins and outs of both vehicles was impressive. Clearly, he had done his homework, and, fortunately for me, he was able to communicate the pros and cons of both vehicles in a way that made perfect sense to someone who does not work in the auto industry. After our test drives, we sat down to look at numbers for all three of the aforementioned vehicles, and I was thoroughly pleased with the courteous and honest assessments that I was given. The prices were fair and plainly stated, and at no time did I feel like I was being pressured into making an impulse buy. Chris honestly and thoughtfully considered my needs as a customer and as a working father, and I appreciate the insights that he offered to ensure that my purchase would be one that would meet my needs - in terms of quality and price -and keep my family safe on the unpredictable roads of Western Pennsylvania.
