Purchase of my 15th, and perhaps next to last Volvo I have driven Volvos since the 60's, everything from the PV544 through my Amazon 122, and most recent '98 S70 T5, putting well over 250,000 miles on e I have driven Volvos since the 60's, everything from the PV544 through my Amazon 122, and most recent '98 S70 T5, putting well over 250,000 miles on each of them (many over 350,000 miles). So, I have dealt with many individuals and dealers along the way. Short of a dear friend who I introduced to Volvos and who later went on the sell Volvos at more than a few dealerships, and my very long time mechanic, my best buying experience was with PJ Lee of Smythe Volvo in Summit. Having gone in to look at a 2012 S70 T5 (those turbos are addictive) I saw on Cars.com, PJ took great care of me and ended up showing me a better car which I eventually bought, but not until I put PJ through his paces first. He passed every test as a salesman and still treated me great. I will certainly seek out PJ for all future Volvo purchases and strongly encourage anyone looking for a grea Volvo buying experience to do the same. More
